The sources available for this article document six restaurants and bars with a link to a professional wrestler, not ten. Their involvement ranges from opening and co-owning to collaborating, and none of the six has been confirmed as operating today. The table below sets out each one as reported, with the date and the source for each claim.
Why this list stops at six
The headline promises ten entries, but we could not verify four more with ownership evidence that holds up. Rather than add names that are only loosely connected to wrestlers, this list includes only the six that a source ties to a specific wrestler and a specific business. Most of the details come from a Daily Meal article dated October 5, 2025. Hulk Hogan’s PastaMania is also covered by Biography.com, which is the stronger of the two accounts for that entry.
The six documented examples
| Business | Location | Wrestler | Involvement as reported | Launched | Reported closure or status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PastaMania | Mall of America | Hulk Hogan | Opened the restaurant (Biography.com; Daily Meal) | 1995 (September, per the Daily Meal) | Closed within a year (Biography.com); after a few months (Daily Meal) |
| Shoney’s | Acworth, Georgia | Scott Steiner | Opened this location (Daily Meal) | 2016 (Daily Meal) | Closed in 2020 (Daily Meal) |
| The Squared Circle | Chicago | Lisa Marie Varon | Co-owned with her husband (Daily Meal) | 2013 (Daily Meal) | Closed in 2017 (Daily Meal) |
| Men Jarasu K | Tokyo | Toshiaki Kawada | Ownership as described in the Daily Meal | 2010 (Daily Meal) | Not stated; no current confirmation found |
| 392 Caffe | Davenport location | Seth Rollins | Collaborated with the business to open the location and later supported the chain (Daily Meal) | 2019 (Daily Meal) | Not stated |
| Hitman’s Bar | Calgary, inside Cowboys Casino | Bret Hart | Launched the bar (Daily Meal) | 2023 (Daily Meal) | Current opening status not confirmed |
How much weight each entry can carry
- PastaMania has the strongest support, because two outlets agree on the opening and the short run. The sources do not explain why it closed, so this article does not offer a reason.
- Shoney’s in Acworth and The Squared Circle rest on a single secondary account, the Daily Meal. Treat their ownership details and closing dates as reported, not independently confirmed.
- Men Jarasu K and Hitman’s Bar also rest on that one article. Neither has current primary-source confirmation that it is still open.
- 392 Caffe should be read as a collaboration, not sole ownership. Rollins’s role is described as working with the business, which is a different claim from owning it.
A popular wrestler hangout is not a wrestler-owned restaurant
Ribera Steakhouse is excluded from this list. WWE’s 2013 oral history describes it as a family-owned restaurant that became a favorite of visiting wrestlers. Being a regular spot for wrestlers does not make a wrestler an owner, and the difference matters when you read a list like this one.
Checking whether any of these places is still open
None of the six can be assumed to be open. Before planning a visit or citing one as current, check it in this order:

- Search the business name with its city. Look for a recent listing that shows current hours and reviews from the past several months.
- Check the business’s own website or social media for posted closure or relocation notices.
- Call the phone number from a recent listing. If no one answers or the number is disconnected, treat the business as unconfirmed.
- If you need to confirm ownership, search the business registry for the jurisdiction where the business is located and look for the registered operating company’s name.
What a celebrity name does and does not prove
A famous name attached to a food business is a marketing asset, not evidence that the business is viable. The examples above show a range of outcomes, from a short run to a business with no current confirmation. When you evaluate a celebrity-backed food venture, look at the operating company, the lease, and who signs the business documents, rather than the name on the sign.
