What the two articles say about XA20P

Why the two descriptions cannot be settled
Because neither article links to a primary source, there is no authoritative record to decide which description, if either, reflects a real product. Reading one: an additional 200% of the qualifying amount
Here the bonus is added on top of the amount that qualified. On a hypothetical $100 qualifying amount, the extra credit would be $200, and the total would be $300.
Reading two: a total value equal to 200% of the qualifying amount
Here the total is capped at twice the qualifying amount. On the same hypothetical $100, the total would be $200, meaning only $100 of extra value.

The two readings differ by a factor of three in total value on the same input, so any offer using this phrasing needs its exact wording checked before you act on it.

The Position is Everything article offers implementation advice for anyone building a bonus or promotion system. That advice is general guidance from that article. It does not confirm that any XA20P offer exists or how one would work.

Define the percentage precisely
The article recommends stating exactly what the percentage applies to. In basis points, 200% equals 20,000 bps, which avoids ambiguity in code, but the business rule still has to say whether the figure is additional or total.
Validate eligibility on the server
The article recommends that eligibility be checked on the server rather than trusted from the browser or app, so the qualifying event is confirmed before any credit is issued.

Use integer money amounts

What a credible offer would need to show
The DeFi article’s claims are not established as product features. Before relying on any description of this kind, a reader should expect to see:
- A named issuer or operator, with contact details and a corporate or legal identity that can be verified
- Primary technical or product documentation published by that operator, not only third-party articles
- Written terms covering eligibility, the qualifying action, dates, geography, caps, and how any payout is made
- Independent evidence for any performance, safety, or risk-management claim
How to check an offer that uses this name
- Find the operator’s own website and confirm it names XA20P in its official terms, not only in marketing headlines.
- Read the full terms and locate the qualifying action, the bonus formula, the expiry date, any cap, and the regions where it applies.
- Work out the bonus with a small amount using both readings above and confirm which total you will actually receive.
