NUVA’s HOME vault is listed as Live on its marketplace as of October 2026. It gives eligible investors pooled exposure to a managed portfolio of U.S. residential loans, initially home equity lines of credit (HELOCs). Investors deposit USDC into an Ethereum vault and receive nvHOME tokens; they do not buy or directly own selected mortgages. NUVA lists a 7.00% target APY, but that rate is illustrative, resets monthly and is not guaranteed.
What HOME and nvHOME mean
HOME is the name of NUVA’s residential-credit vault. nvHOME is the ticker for the vault token issued to depositors. The token represents proportional exposure to the vault’s portfolio, not title to a particular borrower’s loan or property. That makes HOME a pooled investment rather than a way to select and own individual mortgages.
| Term | What it refers to |
|---|---|
| HOME | The managed U.S. residential-credit vault. |
| nvHOME | The token representing a holder’s proportional exposure to the vault. |
| USDC | The stablecoin deposited into the Ethereum vault to obtain nvHOME. |
CoinDesk’s October 8, 2026 report described HOME’s introduction; NUVA’s marketplace currently lists it as Live. Marketplace status and terms can change, so the current official listing is the appropriate place to confirm them.
What loans back the vault
NUVA describes HOME as U.S. residential housing private credit, beginning with HELOCs. It says debt-service-coverage-ratio (DSCR) loans and residential transition loans are expected after launch; they should not be treated as current holdings unless NUVA’s live portfolio information confirms that they have been added.

A HELOC lets a homeowner borrow against available home equity, often through a revolving credit line. The U.S. market is substantial: CoinDesk reported Federal Reserve Economic Data showing $460 billion in HELOC balances in Q2 2026, and cited the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s report of a $13 billion increase that quarter, the 17th consecutive quarterly increase. These figures describe the broader market, not HOME’s assets or performance.
Who selects and manages the loans
Figure Technology Solutions and its partners source or originate loans through Figure Connect. Figure Investment Advisors LLC manages the HOME portfolio. NUVA says the manager screens loans against a published buybox, builds a portfolio with attention to duration, loan mix and diversification, and monitors its performance.
The screening and monitoring criteria NUVA identifies include FICO scores, loan-to-value and debt-to-income ratios, coupon, delinquency status, loan age and term, lien balances, property information and repayment history. NUVA’s product documentation also describes Figure’s 28-point automated underwriting process with no manual exceptions. It reports cumulative losses below 1% across more than $28 billion in originations since 2018. That is Figure/NUVA’s issuer-reported historical figure across originations, not a HOME track record or a forecast of future losses.

How the target APY and token value work
NUVA currently displays a 7.00% target APY and labels the figure illustrative. It is a policy target, not a promised return. NUVA and the manager set the policy rate and reset it monthly. Yield accrues within the vault and is reflected in nvHOME’s value rather than being paid separately as cash or stablecoins.
NUVA describes the sequence as NAV accrual at the target rate, payment of management fees, then allocation of excess spread to the first-loss equity tranche. The public materials do not establish a fixed management-fee amount here. Actual results can differ from the target, and losses can reduce the value of the investment.
How withdrawals work—and where liquidity comes from
NUVA says withdrawals can be initiated 24/7 and typically process within three U.S. business days. The stated typical timeline is not a guarantee that every withdrawal will complete on schedule, especially during market stress or unusually high redemption demand.

- 5 3/16" x 9"
- Includes forms for church receipts, member contributions, and disbursements
The vault has two different liquidity and loss-absorption components that should not be confused:
- YLDS liquidity sleeve: targeted at approximately 5% of HOME’s total value locked (TVL), it is intended to support smaller redemptions.
- First-loss equity tranche: separately targeted at approximately 5% of the vault cap, it is designed to absorb portfolio losses before nvHOME holders.
If available liquidity is insufficient for larger withdrawals, NUVA says whole loans may need to be sold through Figure Connect or over-the-counter channels. A sale under pressure could take time or realize a discount. Neither the sleeve nor the first-loss tranche assures immediate liquidity, protects principal in all cases or guarantees yield.
Eligibility and what an investor needs
NUVA describes access through a compatible wallet holding stablecoins, subject to AML screening and geographic restrictions. The materials do not establish a complete jurisdiction list or show that every offshore investor is eligible. They also do not establish the offering’s full legal classification, applicable tax treatment or eligibility rules for every location. Risks to weigh before investing
- Borrower and credit risk: borrowers can become delinquent or default, producing losses in the loan portfolio.
- Interest-rate and valuation risk: rate changes and shifts in credit conditions can affect loan values and the economics of a managed portfolio.
- Liquidity risk: withdrawal requests may exceed readily available liquidity, and selling whole loans can take time or require accepting a discount.
- Smart-contract and operational risk: vulnerabilities, exploits, oracle failures, compromised keys or other operational incidents could disrupt access or cause losses.
NUVA lists mitigations including loan screening and monitoring, the liquidity sleeve and first-loss tranche, loan-sale channels, audits, a bug-bounty program, Hypernative monitoring, 6-of-9 multisig controls and a 48-hour upgrade timelock. NUVA says loan-level data and vault-level Proof of Reserves are available. Loan-level information can help investors assess portfolio composition, while Proof of Reserves is intended to provide evidence about assets held by the vault. Neither feature removes credit risk, guarantees that assets can be sold promptly at a particular price, nor independently settles every question about valuation, custody, legal rights or operations.

How HOME fits into the wider market
CoinDesk characterizes NUVA as an RWA marketplace created by Animoca Brands and Nuva Labs. The potential appeal of HOME is access to managed U.S. housing-loan exposure through a tokenized vault, rather than arranging or servicing individual loans directly. That convenience comes with pooled exposure: investors rely on the portfolio construction, servicing and withdrawal mechanisms instead of choosing specific mortgages.
NUVA’s August 2026 announcement describes a partnership between Nuva Labs and Black Lake Digital Markets covering asset tokenization, onchain data security and future distribution. It says their earlier work tokenized more than 4,000 down-payment-assistance mortgage loans valued at over $25 million on Provenance Blockchain. The announcement describes Harbor Verify as a tool for investors to check whether a loan is in a pool and meets published eligibility rules without exposing borrower personal information. That earlier Black Lake pool is distinct from HOME and should not be mistaken for HOME’s underlying portfolio.
