We are grateful for the contributions of the employees impacted and are committed to supporting them with care and respect.” The statement reflects the company’s stated rationale and commitment. It does not identify the priorities or specify what support employees will receive.
What is not yet specified
The cited reports do not identify affected job families, teams, or locations. They also do not say whether contractors are included in the 800 figure, when individual notifications or departures will happen, or what severance and other support terms apply. eBay’s general statement about supporting impacted employees does not establish particular benefits or terms.
