Xbox Black Friday promotions in 2024 were announced region by region, not as one worldwide sale with a single start date. In the U.S., Microsoft listed $50 off the Xbox Series S 512GB from November 21 through December 2, 2024; Spain had its own euro-priced offers and dates. Every promotion below has expired.
What the U.S. Xbox Black Friday sale offered
In a November 15, 2024 announcement, the Microsoft Store Team listed these Xbox offers for the United States. The post said promotions were subject to regional variation and available while supplies lasted. Microsoft Devices Blog, November 15, 2024.
| Category | 2024 U.S. offer | Dates |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox Series S – 512GB | $50 off | November 21–December 2, 2024 |
| Select Xbox Wireless controllers | $10 off | November 22–December 2, 2024 |
| Games purchased from the Microsoft Store on Xbox | Up to 55% off; examples included NBA 2K25, EA SPORTS FC 25, and Star Wars: Outlaws | The announcement did not state offer dates for games |
The dates and amounts are the terms stated in Microsoft’s 2024 U.S. announcement, not current prices or evidence of a recurring annual discount.
How Spain’s offers differed
Microsoft’s Spain-region Xbox announcement, published November 21, 2024, described a separate promotion. Hardware offers ran through December 2, while the Xbox Design Lab engraving offer had a later end date. Microsoft News Center Spain, November 21, 2024.

These Spain prices and terms apply to that regional announcement. They should not be treated as U.S. offers or converted into a global sale list.
Why “the sale has started” was not a worldwide date
Microsoft’s U.S. post announced offers with different start dates: the Series S discount began November 21 and the controller discount November 22. Spain’s announcement appeared November 21 and said its hardware offers were already available. The announcements do not establish one universal start date, a comprehensive list of every country’s offers, or matching inventory across markets.

For anyone comparing historical offers, the useful distinctions are region, product category, discount, promotion dates, and availability limits. The U.S. post explicitly noted that offers varied by market and were available while supplies lasted; the Spanish announcement supplied its own local terms.

The listed amounts are sale discounts, not current recommended prices or guarantees of savings against a particular retailer’s usual price. A $50 or €50 reduction also does not establish that the console had the same underlying price in both regions. Currency, market, and offer terms differed.
