Updated October 8, 2026: Pokémon Pokopia has already released, so it can no longer be preordered. The game launched for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, 2026. You can look for a physical copy at game retailers or online shops, or a digital copy through Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store; check your region’s listings for current stock and prices.
Where to buy Pokémon Pokopia now
The Pokémon Company announced physical copies through game retailers and online shops, and digital copies through Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store. Those are the announced purchase channels, not a guarantee that a particular store has the game in stock today. Check local listings for availability, price, delivery or pickup options, and any current retailer offer. The Pokémon Company’s announcement also said digital preorders would begin November 12, 2025. That preorder window has passed.

How to choose a format
| Format | Where to look | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Physical | Game retailers and online shops | Local stock, total price, shipping or pickup, and whether you prefer a game-key card |
| Digital | Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store | Regional price and availability; digital access means no physical copy to receive |
These channels were named in The Pokémon Company’s November 11, 2025 announcement; they do not establish present-day inventory or a best-priced retailer. The sources cited here do not verify a current retailer ranking, live prices, or retailer-specific gifts. Before purchasing, confirm the exact edition, total checkout cost, delivery timing, and any claimed offer on the seller’s current product page.

Is the Ditto rug still available?
Nintendo’s US product listing describes an in-game Ditto rug as an early-purchase bonus. It says the rug can be claimed through Mystery Gift by January 31, 2027, and that the offer applies to the game-key card and digital versions. This is US-market information, not confirmation of identical terms elsewhere; check the Nintendo listing for your country. The bonus does not mean preorders are still open. Nintendo’s US listing has the offer details.

The Expansion Pass is separate paid downloadable content, not the base game or a physical preorder edition. Nintendo Support says it is available through Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store. Make sure a listing is for Pokémon Pokopia itself if you are buying the game, rather than only its add-on content. Nintendo Support explains the Expansion Pass.
