MuteMe left its Shark Tank Season 13 pitch without a completed deal, but the company continued selling its computer mute button, expanded its product range, and announced the acquisition of mütesync in 2024. Sales figures reported after the episode suggest continued activity, though they are not audited financial statements.
Did MuteMe get a deal on Shark Tank?
No deal was completed on the broadcast. Co-founders Parm Dhoot and Tye Davis pitched their illuminated computer mute button on Season 13, Episode 2. MuteMe says the episode aired October 15, 2021, after filming in July 2021. The Shark Tank Blog recap says they asked for $200,000 in exchange for 10% equity and that the televised pitch ended without an agreement. There is a distinction between the televised outcome and the founders’ later account of filming. MuteMe says the pitch lasted nearly an hour, with about ten minutes shown, and that an additional offer made during filming was later withdrawn before a deal could be finalized. That is the company’s account of off-air events; it does not change the fact that the episode ended without a completed deal.
What happened to MuteMe after the show?
The company continued selling its mute button and expanded its lineup. A Shark Tank Blog recap says supply-chain problems delayed fulfillment, followed by the introduction of a Mini model and sales through Amazon. These details and the sales milestones below come from secondary reporting, not audited company accounts.

Is MuteMe still in business?
MuteMe’s official storefront currently markets the original MuteMe, MuteMe Mini, and a mütesync-branded device. That supports saying the company is marketing products; it does not establish its profitability, financial health, or current sales volume. MuteMe storefront
