Uber lets you review the receipt for each completed ride and request a copy of your personal account data. Its public rider help does not confirm that either option provides a ready-made spending total for a chosen period, so you may need to add the relevant trip charges yourself.
How to check what you paid for an Uber ride
- Open Activity or trip history. Menu wording can vary by app version, region, or interface.
- Select a completed trip, then open its receipt. Uber Help says the receipt shows the full price breakdown. You can download a PDF from the receipt.
- Repeat for each ride in the period you want to review. Add the applicable trip charges if you need a total and Uber has not already displayed one for your account.
Uber Help states: “Your Uber account contains a history of all the trips you’ve taken and the receipts.” Uber’s receipt instructions describe how to open a ride’s receipt; they do not document a built-in total for a selected date range.

Can you download a history or a period total?
Uber provides an online personal-data summary and lets riders request a downloadable copy of account data. To request it, sign in and complete two-step verification; Uber says it will notify you when the file is ready. The help page does not specify that the file is a filtered CSV, that it contains every past trip, or that it calculates spending for a chosen period.
For a longer history, the data request may be worth checking, but first inspect what your account summary or downloaded file actually contains. If it includes relevant ride records but no period total, calculate the sum from those records or compare them with the trip receipts. Do not assume a particular file format or automatic monthly-spending report.

If you use Uber for Business
Business accounts have reporting options that differ from the consumer rider tools. Uber’s business materials describe transaction downloads from Billing and date-range reporting in Insights. Use those features only if your organization’s account provides them; they are not a personal-app export path.

Tax invoices
Uber’s invoice guidance describes invoices for trips where GST applies and says a tax profile is needed for the invoices covered there. Those instructions are market-specific, not a universal requirement for every rider or trip. See Uber’s trip-invoice help page.

Receipts API
The documented Receipts API is for business trips associated with an organization and requires an Uber for Business Enterprise account. The referenced trip-receipt endpoints are marked deprecated for new integrations, so they are not a practical route for an ordinary rider seeking a personal trip export.
