The Board’s notice instructed candidates to enter the registration number from their application and their date of birth to open a result preview, which could then be printed. The notice’s website addresses are historical; check WBBPE’s current official website for any available result link or notice.
Who the WB TET 2022 result covers
WB TET-2022 was the West Bengal primary-level Teacher Eligibility Test for Classes I to V, conducted by WBBPE. The examination took place on 11 December 2022. The Board announced the result on 10 February 2023 and said it would be available from 3:00 pm that day.
How to check and print the result
In its notice dated 10 February 2023, WBBPE gave the following route. These are the Board’s published instructions from 2023, not confirmation that the old result portal still works.
- Visit one of the websites named in the notice: www.wbbpe.org or http://wbbprimaryeducation.org. Both addresses are from the historical notice.
- Open “TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST-2022 (TET-2022) (FOR CLASSES I TO V, PRIMARY)”.
- Select “RESULT OF TET-2022 (CLASSES I TO V, PRIMARY)”.
- Enter the registration number generated during your TET-2022 application and the date of birth recorded in that application.
- When the result preview appears, use the page’s print option to print it or save it through your browser’s print dialog, if that option is available.
The notice said candidates would be redirected to a result preview screen from which they could print the result. It described printing the preview; it did not say that this process downloaded an eligibility certificate.
If the old result link does not open
The addresses in the 2023 notice are legacy domains, and whether the individual-result portal remains live has not been verified. Go to WBBPE’s current official website and check its notice archive or important-links page for an available TET-2022 result service. Confirm that any page requesting your application details is on an official Board domain. If you cannot locate the result service, use contact details published on the current official site rather than entering personal information on an unofficial page.

WBBPE reports that 619,102 candidates appeared and 150,492 qualified in TET-2022. These are the Board’s totals; its event summary does not give a pass percentage. The Board separately reports that TET-2022 eligibility certificates were issued on 29 April 2023. The result-preview printing route and the certificate issuance are distinct: the 2023 result notice does not identify the preview as a certificate download.
