PerthNow reported on 17 October 2022 that Sephora’s second Western Australia store was scheduled to open on Thursday, 20 October 2022, on Murray Street Mall in Perth’s CBD. The opening-day event, giveaway and store details below describe what was announced at the time; they are not current offers or confirmation of the store’s present status.
Where was the Perth store planned to open?
PerthNow reported that the store would be on the ground level of the Commonwealth Bank Building on Murray Street Mall in Perth’s CBD. The report put its planned area at 444 square metres.

What did PerthNow report about the store?
The 2022 article said the store would offer Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, Tarte, Fresh, Sephora Collection, Rare Beauty and Makeup by Mario. These are the brands and collection named in that historical report, not confirmation of what the location stocks now.
What was announced for opening day?
PerthNow said a Sephora Street Fair was due to start at 7 a.m. on Thursday, 20 October 2022, with a live DJ, beauty touch-up stations, samples, carnival games and food carts. The store was scheduled to open to the public at 9 a.m.

The report also said the first 400 people in line would receive a Natasha Denona Love Eyeshadow Palette, which PerthNow valued at $100. This was a giveaway advertised for that 2022 opening, not an ongoing promotion.
Why was this called WA’s second Sephora store?
PerthNow described the Murray Street Mall location as Western Australia’s second Sephora shopfront. The article recalled that the retailer’s first WA shopfront had opened at Karrinyup Shopping Centre in October 2021.

What is known about the store today?
The PerthNow report establishes what was planned and advertised for October 2022, but it does not establish whether the Murray Street store is currently operating, its present hours or services, or its current product availability. Those details cannot be inferred from the opening announcement.
