Where did Uber Eats launch in regional WA?
The March 2025 rollout covered four towns: Broome, Esperance, Kalgoorlie and Karratha, according to Uber Eats Australia’s announcement. PerthNow reported the following day that the launch extended an existing regional WA presence that included Albany, Bunbury, Busselton and Geraldton (PerthNow, March 17, 2025).
Which restaurants were named at launch?
Uber Eats listed these participating businesses as examples when it announced the expansion. The list does not establish every merchant available at launch, and it should not be treated as a current menu.

How to check if Uber Eats delivers to your address
Town-level launch news cannot confirm service to every home or business. Uber’s Western Australia delivery page asks customers to enter an address to see available delivery and pickup choices. Check in the app or on that page for the current merchants and options at the specific address; the listing is live and may change.

What Uber Eats said about the regional expansion
The company framed the rollout as a way to give residents and visitors another channel for ordering from local restaurants and to help local businesses reach customers. PerthNow also reported that the launch opened an opportunity for local people to sign up as drivers or riders.
Uber Eats said restaurant partner sign-ups had grown by double digits over the preceding year, without giving an exact percentage. Its March 2025 announcement described the four-town launch as the first stage of a national regional-growth plan and said it aspired to more than double its non-metropolitan footprint by the end of 2025. That was a company ambition, not confirmation that the target was achieved.

What the national 2025 projections do—and do not—show
In April 2025, Uber Eats Australia reported estimates from a study it commissioned with Oxford Economics. These were national projections for the broader rollout, not measured results in Broome, Esperance, Kalgoorlie or Karratha.
