What was the last date to apply for UPSC CSE 2025?
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) extended the last date to submit applications for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025 to 21 February 2025 at 6:00 PM. UPSC’s extension notice states: “The last date for submission for CS(P)-2025 & IFoS(P)-2025 has been further extended till 21.02.2025 (06:00 PM).” The Commission’s examination archive also records 21 February 2025 at 18:00 as the last application date.
When was the correction window?
UPSC’s extension notice set the application correction window for 22–28 February 2025. Those dates have also passed.
Where is the official UPSC application link?
UPSC’s Apply Online page directs examination applicants to its new application portal: https://upsconline.nic.in. Use the portal to select an examination only when UPSC has notified that examination and opened its application process. The Commission’s application FAQ advises candidates to read the full, exam-specific notification and not wait until the last day or hours to apply.

Is a later CSE application window open now?
No. As of 8 October 2026, the deadline shown on UPSC’s page for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026—27 February 2026 at 6:00 PM—has also passed. Check the relevant UPSC notice for the examination year you intend to apply for; deadlines and correction dates can differ between cycles.
