The Economic Times recorded this direct link for the 2024 card: https://upsconline.nic.in/eadmitcard/admitcard_NDAI_2024/. It is a historical route, not confirmation that the 2024 page or card can still be accessed. The official notice identified UPSC’s online portal as the download source.

How candidates downloaded the 2024 card

Contemporary instructions described the following route. These are historical steps for the 2024 exam, not verified instructions for a current portal page.

What the 2024 UPSC notice required

Printout and photo identification

The UPSC notice instructed candidates to download and print the e-admit card after upload, preserve it until the final result, and bring its printout to the exam. No paper admit card would be issued. Candidates also had to carry, for each session, the photo ID whose number appeared on the e-admit card. The notice said candidates without the card printout would not be allowed to take the exam.

Session times and venue entry

According to the UPSC notice, the forenoon session was scheduled for 10:00 AM–12:30 PM and the afternoon session for 2:00 PM–4:30 PM. Entry to the venue closed 30 minutes before each session. Candidates could not sit the exam at a venue other than the one printed on their e-admit card.

Items to bring and leave behind

The notice advised candidates to bring a black ball point pen. It prohibited mobile phones, smart or digital watches, books, bags, and other listed valuables or electronic items inside the venue. Candidates should follow the instructions on their own e-admit card; these are the rules stated for the 2024 examination, not a substitute for current exam instructions.

Finding an admit card for a current UPSC exam

UPSC’s e-admit-card index is the appropriate starting point for a current examination. Its general FAQ explains e-admit-card delivery and states that admit cards are not sent by post. The general pages do not establish whether the 2024-specific endpoint remains active.
