UPSC declared the NDA and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2024 final result on 11 April 2025. The merit list names 792 candidates who qualified after the written examination on 1 September 2024 and subsequent Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews. They are listed for the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA course 154 and the Naval Academy’s 116th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Read the official result notice and access the result PDF.
What the final result means
The official notice describes the 792 people as candidates who “have qualified,” listed in order of merit after the written examination and SSB interviews. This is the final result announcement—not a new shortlist for SSB, which had already taken place.
Qualification in this list does not itself confirm medical fitness or unconditional admission. UPSC states that medical examination results were not taken into account in preparing the list. Candidatures were provisional pending submission of the required supporting certificates, including documents for date of birth and educational qualifications.
What candidates should do next
- Check the official list: Open the PIB release carrying UPSC’s final-result notice and use its result PDF to locate your name.
- Submit any outstanding certificates: The notice directs candidates with documents still to provide to send them to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Adjutant General’s Branch, Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Army)—not to UPSC. Follow the notice for the applicable document requirements and submission details.
- Check marks separately: UPSC said marks would be available on its website after 15 days from the result declaration. Its marks archive lists NDA/NA Examination (II), 2024.
- Look to the relevant service for course information: The notice directs candidates to the recruiting websites for the Army, Navy and Air Force for commencement dates and course details: joinindianarmy.nic.in, joinindiannavy.gov.in and careerindianairforce.cdac.in.
Courses covered by the result
The result concerns candidates for two identified courses: NDA’s 154th course, covering its Army, Navy and Air Force wings, and the Naval Academy’s 116th INAC. The notice does not provide a candidate-by-candidate medical outcome or a course commencement date; use the service recruiting websites for course updates.
