How to Check the UKSSSC PA/Steno Result: Verify the Advertisement and Notice Stage

UKSSSC lists PA/Steno notices for different advertisements and stages. Match your advertisement number and read the official notice before treating a list as a written-exam result or final selection.

Check the UKSSSC result against your exact post and advertisement number before treating it as the PA/Stenographer written-exam result. The commission’s official listings show notices for different PA/Steno recruitment stages—including a document-scrutiny notice dated 24 September 2026 for Advt.-61 and a separate provisional merit-list notice dated 28 September 2026 for Advt. 26/UKSSSC/2020. Neither listing should be called a written-exam result or final selection unless the notice itself says so.

How to check the UKSSSC PA/Steno result

  1. Open the official UKSSSC Result & Answer Keys page.
  2. Find the notice that matches your exact post and advertisement number. PA/Steno notices may relate to different advertisements.
  3. Read the notice title and date. Identify whether it concerns a written examination, typing or shorthand test, document scrutiny, or a selection recommendation.
  4. Open the matching notice and follow its specific instructions. Do not assume that every recruitment uses the same result-checking method.

If the notice is not easy to identify in the results list, check the commission’s homepage and Recruitment & Notification section. Confirm the advertisement number and post before acting on a notice.

What the current PA/Steno notices say

Advt.-61: document scrutiny notice

The official Result & Answer Keys listing includes a Personal Assistant/Stenographer document-scrutiny list dated 24 September 2026 under Advt.-61. The listing identifies the stage as document scrutiny; that does not establish that it is a written-exam result.

Advt. 26/UKSSSC/2020: provisional merit-list notice

The UKSSSC homepage separately lists a PA/Steno provisional merit-list notice dated 28 September 2026 under Advt. 26/UKSSSC/2020. It is a different advertisement from Advt.-61. Check the notice itself to establish what the list means and what candidates must do next.

Other notices are different recruitment stages

The Result & Answer Keys page also displays a selection recommendation dated 10 July 2026 and a typing/shorthand merit list dated 13 May 2026. These titles describe different stages; a recommendation, test merit list, or scrutiny list is not interchangeable with a written-exam result.

How to tell whether a list is final

Use the wording in the exact official notice. A provisional merit list or document-scrutiny list does not, by itself, establish final selection. Follow any scrutiny requirements and deadlines stated in that notice, and look for a final selection recommendation or result only when the commission publishes one for your advertisement.

A third-party result index reports a provisional merit list of 37 candidates for Advt. No. 26/UASCA/2020, with an issue date of 20 September 2026, following Hindi typing and shorthand tests held on 12–13 September. That is secondary reporting, and its advertisement-number wording differs from the official homepage listing for Advt. 26/UKSSSC/2020. Do not rely on the candidate count, stage, or date without checking the corresponding official notice. See the third-party index only as context; the commission’s notice is authoritative.

What you need to check before acting

  • Post name: confirm that the notice is for Personal Assistant/Stenographer, not another recruitment.
  • Advertisement number: match it to your application; the commission lists more than one PA/Steno advertisement.
  • Notice stage and date: distinguish a written-exam result from a typing/shorthand list, document scrutiny, or selection recommendation.
  • Notice instructions: follow the requirements stated for that specific recruitment. The listings do not establish a universal roll-number, date-of-birth, or login requirement for the unspecified recruitment in the headline.
