The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) result for the Staff Nurse Ayurveda (Male/Female) (Pre) Examination-2023 was announced on 31 October 2024, according to a Scroll.in report published at 11:30 am that day. This is the preliminary-stage result for an exam held on 8 September 2024. It is not a result released in 2026. The announcement named candidates who were provisionally successful for admission to the main examination, and it did not describe anyone as finally appointed.
What the 2024 announcement reported
The Scroll.in report gave two shortlist counts, each measured against the number of posts reserved for that cadre:

The report also gave the preliminary examination date as 8 September 2024. Scroll’s article does not identify the individual UPPSC official or document behind each figure, so treat these numbers as Scroll’s reported figures rather than as checked against the official PDF.
What “provisionally successful” means
Reading this result correctly depends on separating three stages that are easy to blur together:

- Preliminary qualification. The candidate reached the Commission’s minimum qualifying standard marks in the 2023 preliminary exam. The report says the candidates met this standard. It does not say that this alone makes anyone selected.
- Admission to the main examination. Provisionally successful candidates were moved forward to the main exam. Being on this list is not an appointment.
- Final selection and appointment. Neither the main exam result nor any appointment is covered by the 2024 announcement.
The gap between 89 shortlisted women and 162 female-cadre posts does not mean that the remaining posts were filled or that the other candidates were rejected. It describes only who was carried forward at that stage.
How to check the result on the official site
Scroll told candidates to use the official UPPSC website, which is listed as uppsc.up.nic.in. The steps below follow that 2024 instruction:

- On the homepage, find the What’s New section.
- Select the Staff Nurse Ayurveda exam result entry.
- Check your roll or registration details against the listed names, then save or print the page or file for your records.
Some points need checking before you rely on these steps:
- The direct link to the historical result file given in the 2024 report did not open when checked, so this article does not provide a live download link.
- The homepage currently shows notifications and result-related sections, but menu labels change. If “What’s New” no longer lists this result, look under the notifications or results sections.
- Only the official UPPSC site should be used for result files. Do not pay a third party to view or confirm a result.
Why the date matters in 2026
Because this result is almost two years old, a reader searching now is more likely to need the next stage than the preliminary list. The available reporting covers only the 2024 preliminary-stage announcement. For the main examination schedule, its result, and any final selection list, check the UPPSC notifications on the official site and do not rely on this article for those later steps.

This article establishes four things with reasonable confidence: the 2023 preliminary exam was held on 8 September 2024, the result was announced on 31 October 2024, the shortlist counts were 89 female and 8 male candidates against 162 and 18 posts, and the official result route was the UPPSC website.
