Which UKPSC recruitment did the admit card cover?
The formal recruitment title in the commission’s January 31, 2024 notification was “Under The Home Department Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer And Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) Exam-2024.” “SI FSSO” is shorthand used in coverage of the recruitment. The UKPSC official notices archive is the commission’s archive for dated notices; an archive entry alone does not establish that an old candidate login or download link still works.
When was the exam scheduled?
Moneycontrol reported on January 27, 2025 that the admit card had been released and that the written exam was scheduled for February 9, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Moneycontrol’s January 27 report).
An earlier Hindustan Times report, published January 2, gave an initial exam date of January 12 and said candidates provisionally qualified in the physical efficiency test could download their cards using their login details (Hindustan Times’ January 2 report). The later report gave February 9 as the exam date. No official postponement notice was retrieved to explain the change, so February 9 is the later reported schedule, not a verified explanation of the revision.
What was the reported download route?
In 2025, candidates were directed to visit psc.uk.gov.in, open the relevant admit-card notice, sign in with their credentials, then view, download and print the hall ticket. This is the reported historical route, not confirmation that the old login page or download is available now.
- Open the UKPSC website and locate the SI/FSSO Exam-2024 admit-card notice.
- Use the candidate login details requested on the notice or portal.
- View the hall ticket, download it and print a copy.
The contemporaneous 2025 report advised candidates to check the exam date, time, venue and instructions on the card and to bring a printed copy and valid photo ID. Those are reported instructions from that period, not a current UKPSC rule confirmed here.
