What the 2025 Technical Assistant result means
Scroll reported that the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) released a list of candidates qualified to appear in the Technical Assistant Group-C Main Examination. The reported recruitment covered 3,446 posts under the Directorate of Agriculture, Agriculture Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The shortlist was based on candidates’ Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET)-2023 performance; it was not a separate written prelims result. Scroll.in’s 2025 report said 37,845 candidates were shortlisted.

At the time of that report, the Main Examination schedule was to be announced later. The 2025 shortlist and figures here are attributed to Scroll; the primary UPSSSC notice was not accessible for verification.

- Go to the official UPSSSC website: upsssc.gov.in.
- Look under “Important Announcements” for the Technical Assistant Group-C Main Examination result or shortlist announcement. Portal labels and navigation may change, so follow the current site wording.
- Open the shortlist link and search the published list for your details. If the portal prompts you to enter information, follow the fields shown there.
Later update: final selection reported in June 2026
Career Power reported that UPSSSC released the final result and cut-offs for this recruitment on 23 June 2026, with 3,446 candidates selected. This is a later update to the 2025 shortlist report, and the final-selection status and figures are attributed to Career Power rather than independently verified against an official notice. Do not confuse this result with the separate 2026 recruitment
Later coverage also describes a different Pravidhik Sahayak recruitment under Advertisement 06-Pariksha/2026. That process is based on PET-2025, not PET-2023. AgriJob reported 2,759 vacancies and 63,693 candidates shortlisted for that separate recruitment. Those figures do not apply to the Technical Assistant Group-C recruitment covered by the 2025 shortlist report. AgriJob’s report discusses the separate 2026 process.
