UFCalendar reported total compensation of $2.432 million for Israel Adesanya and $2.042 million for Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 305. Those are secondary-source figures, not a complete official purse disclosure or verified all-in earnings. Many other fighter amounts published for the card are estimates, and available totals may omit pay-per-view shares, sponsorships and locker-room bonuses.
How much did Adesanya and Du Plessis reportedly make?
UFC 305: Du Plessis vs. Adesanya took place at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The middleweight title bout ended with Du Plessis submitting Adesanya in the fourth round. UFC announced the event for August 17, 2024; Perth-local coverage may date it August 18 because of the time difference.
| Fighter | UFCalendar figure | Evidence and limits |
|---|---|---|
| Israel Adesanya | $2,000,000 show money; $2,432,000 reported total | UFCalendar’s 2024 reported figure. The difference is additional reported compensation in that site’s total, not a verified commission purse or confirmed all-in earnings. |
| Dricus Du Plessis | $800,000 show money; $800,000 win bonus; $2,042,000 reported total | UFCalendar’s 2024 reported figure, not a confirmed complete contract payout. |
| Dan Hooker | $200,000 show money; $200,000 win bonus; $471,000 reported total | UFCalendar’s reported total; it should not be read as a complete accounting of income. |
UFCalendar says its reported rows combine commission data with contemporaneous research. Its table is not a regulator’s complete disclosure, and the sources reviewed do not establish the fighters’ private contract terms.
What did other UFC 305 fighters earn?
UFCalendar labels most of its remaining fighter figures as estimates rather than reported amounts. As examples, it estimates Kai Kara-France’s pay at about $236,000 and Steve Erceg’s at about $70,000. These estimates do not have the same evidence status as the reported totals above, so they should not be treated as confirmed payouts.

Were bonuses included in the purse totals?
Salary Sport lists four separate $50,000 promotional awards: Dan Hooker and Mateusz Gamrot for Fight of the Night, and Kai Kara-France and Carlos Prates for Performance of the Night. That listing comes to $200,000 in awards. The source’s accessible result does not state a publication year for this figure. Promotional awards are distinct from base-purse estimates and do not establish a fighter’s total compensation.
UFCalendar also reports $4,945,000 as recorded payroll across three fighters. The site says this figure excludes undisclosed locker-room bonuses, sponsorships and most pay-per-view money. It is therefore neither a complete event payroll nor a total that can safely be combined with the promotional awards to calculate all fighter pay.

Why is there no single official UFC 305 purse total?
The available sources differ in what they disclose. Salary Sport says purses were not disclosed for the card, while UFCalendar presents some amounts as reported and most others as estimates. A contemporaneous SportsRush preview likewise said official purse information was not public when it was published and used estimates based on prior fighter purses. The prudent reading is that published numbers offer an incomplete picture, not an authoritative salary sheet for every bout.
Even a reported show purse or bonus does not necessarily equal a fighter’s complete earnings. The sources do not establish each athlete’s pay-per-view participation, sponsorship income, locker-room bonuses, taxes, expenses or take-home amount. Do not interpret the published figures as net income.
