CoinDesk is not identified in the reviewed sources as a separately traded company. Its listed-company connection is Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), which acquired CoinDesk in November 2023. So if you are searching for “CoinDesk stock,” distinguish the Bullish share price from CoinDesk’s editorial coverage of stocks.
Does CoinDesk have a stock?
The reviewed sources do not identify a separate CoinDesk stock or ticker. CoinDesk’s ethics policy says the publication was acquired by Bullish in November 2023, and Bullish identifies itself as Bullish (NYSE: BLSH). BLSH is Bullish stock, not a separate CoinDesk listing. CoinDesk’s ethics policy and Bullish’s company announcement explain that relationship.
What is CoinDesk’s stock ticker?
There is no CoinDesk ticker identified in these sources. The ticker for the publicly traded parent is BLSH, listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Bullish describes itself as a digital-asset platform providing market infrastructure and information services, including Bullish Exchange; it identifies CoinDesk as its media and information business, with CoinDesk Indices, CoinDesk Data and CoinDesk Insights. These descriptions come from Bullish, not from an independent assessment of the businesses.
Who owns CoinDesk?
Bullish owns CoinDesk. CoinDesk’s policy says Bullish and its executives have no involvement in editorial or content decisions, and says the publication’s editorial committee oversees its standards. The policy states: “Neither Bullish nor any of its executives has any involvement in editorial or content decisions, and our journalists cover the parent company and its affiliates and investments without fear or favor.”

The same policy says CoinDesk articles automatically include a disclosure of corporate ownership, and coverage mentioning Bullish, Block.one or Brendan Blumer includes a prominent disclosure in the article body. It also acknowledges that CoinDesk employees, including journalists, may receive options in Bullish. Those disclosures and safeguards are useful context when assessing coverage of the parent company.
How do I track Bullish stock?
Use a timestamped BLSH quote for the current market price, then use Bullish’s investor-relations materials and regulatory filings to verify company developments. Keep the source type and time period clear: an editorial article, a company announcement and a live market quote answer different questions.

- Comes with secure packaging
- Easy to read text
- It can be a gift option
- Check the issuer and ticker: confirm the quote is for Bullish, ticker BLSH, on the NYSE—not a CoinDesk article or a similarly named asset.
- Check the timestamp: note when the price was recorded and whether the market was open. A quote without a time may be stale.
- Verify company news: Bullish directs investors to its investor-relations website, X account, SEC filings and press releases for material company information.
- Separate reporting from disclosure: use CoinDesk’s Stocks topic page for its editorial stock coverage, and Bullish’s filings and releases for company-reported information.
What CoinDesk’s Stocks page tells you—and what it does not
CoinDesk’s Stocks topic page describes itself as a source of stock news and analysis. It is an editorial hub, not by itself a live BLSH quote or a dedicated Bullish investor-relations feed.
For example, a CoinDesk article dated March 13, 2026, titled “Bitcoin’s recent crash to $60,000 warned stocks first – now they’re following,” presented an analysis of Bitcoin as a leading indicator for risk assets during a market decline. That is a dated analytical framing, not a Bullish share-price update or proof that Bitcoin reliably predicts stock movements.
Which Bullish figures are historical, not current?
In an April 23, 2026 announcement, Bullish reported fully diluted outstanding shares of 161,206,073 using a Q1 average price of $35.07, and 161,266,541 using the March 31, 2026 closing price of $35.73. These are company-reported historical Q1 figures. They are not an October 2026 quote or a current share count, and the prices should not be treated as live market values.
The reviewed materials do not establish a current BLSH quote, trading volume, market capitalization, valuation, a CoinDesk-specific revenue or profit contribution, or the latest company-specific catalyst. Bullish’s description of CoinDesk as a business line does not establish how much CoinDesk contributes financially, nor does ownership alone show that BLSH performance follows CoinDesk’s audience or editorial activity.
