Consider how prominently you want the detail to read: a buckle or stitched trim can be a subtle accent, while fringe is more visually emphatic.

Sam Edelman arrivals: a brand mention, not a model recommendation
Macy’s also mentioned new-arrival shoes from Sam Edelman and said they offered something for every style. The announcement did not identify a style, product name, price, or performance feature, so it supports looking at the brand as part of the period’s fashion coverage—not a recommendation for a particular pair.

These are present-day browsing tools and a changing inventory—not a 2019 catalog or evidence that the styles discussed above remain available.
