Rogers’ 48-month phone option is a 0% interest Equal Payment Plan (EPP) charged to an eligible Rogers Bank credit card—not an automatic extension of standard Rogers device financing. You need a Rogers or Fido mobile plan, an eligible purchase of at least $250, and the right purchase channel and enrollment process.
How the 48-month plan works
With the Equal Payment Plan, an eligible primary Rogers Bank cardholder buys a device or accessory using the card and requests EPP enrollment through the applicable process. Rogers and Rogers Bank describe 36- and 48-month options at 0% interest. A Rogers or Fido mobile plan is required.
The plan is separate from standard Device Financing and Save & Return. It is not automatically applied to every device purchase or monthly Rogers bill.
Who and what qualifies
Rogers Bank’s terms require an eligible purchase of at least $250 by a primary cardholder using a Rogers Bank credit card. Eligible purchases include phones, tablets, smartwatches and accessories. The terms cover participating Rogers-, Fido- or Shaw-branded stores and qualifying third-party retail locations offering Rogers products.

Some purchases through Rogers or Fido call centres, rogers.com or fido.ca may qualify as “Other Channel Purchases” if the purchase is identified in the bank app and EPP is requested within the statement period. Rogers’ comparison uses an illustrative iPhone 17 priced at $1,161 before tax. It shows $38.37 per month before trade-in for the 48-month EPP and $24.18 per month after a hardware promotion for 24-month Device Financing. Those figures are not a like-for-like quote: the terms, promotion and trade-in treatment differ. In a separate trade-in illustration, a $340 device value plus a $300 trade-in bonus reduces the EPP example to $6.70 per month. These are examples, not guaranteed prices or offers for every customer. Compare the total cost, not just the monthly payment
A longer term can reduce the scheduled monthly amount while spreading payments over more time. Before choosing, compare the total amount payable and check how the term interacts with promotional credits, trade-in value, the mobile plan requirement and whether you keep or return the phone. For Save & Return, include any balance due if you keep the device; do not treat that program as equivalent to the card EPP.
Rogers’ current comparison page advertises “up to 50% lower monthly device payments” under its stated comparison. Rogers first made that comparison in a September 11, 2023 announcement, against 24-month financing at full price. It is Rogers’ comparison, not a guaranteed saving for an individual purchase. Does an Amazon phone purchase qualify?
The available terms define eligible Rogers EPP purchase channels; they do not establish that a phone bought on Amazon qualifies. Do not assume an Amazon purchase can be enrolled. Confirm eligibility with Rogers Bank or use a channel explicitly covered by the current terms.
