What did Colle AI announce?
A December 2, 2024 release attributed to KaJ Labs and distributed through Newsfile said Colle AI was expanding its multichain ecosystem with XRP integration. Colle described the goal as making multichain interactions for NFT creation and exchange more streamlined. Those are the company’s stated aims, not independently measured results. The release establishes that Colle announced an integration; it does not provide technical implementation details, a transaction reference, or a product demonstration that verifies an operational XRP Ledger connection.
Is the integration live, and can users create or transfer NFTs through it?
The available material does not independently establish that Colle AI users can currently mint, create, or transfer NFTs on the XRP Ledger through the platform. Without public deployment evidence or a verifiable transaction walkthrough, the December 2024 announcement should not be treated as proof of a live production feature.

That distinction matters: the XRP Ledger has native NFT functionality, but the ledger’s capability does not by itself show that a particular third-party platform has implemented it. The reviewed material likewise does not establish a formal partnership confirmed by both Ripple and Colle AI.
What NFT functionality does the XRP Ledger have?
The XRP Ledger’s XLS-20 standard enables native NFTs on XRPL mainnet. The XRPL community blog records that the NonFungibleTokensV1_1 amendment was enabled on October 31, 2022. It also records that the DynamicNFT amendment became enabled on June 11, 2025. These are ledger-level capabilities, not evidence of Colle AI’s implementation. See the XRPL community blog.

How is Ripple’s Wormhole announcement different?
Ripple announced on June 26, 2025 that Wormhole was integrating cross-chain messaging infrastructure with XRPL mainnet and the XRPL EVM Sidechain. Ripple said the initiative would support transfers of XRP, Issued Assets (IOUs), and Multi-Purpose Tokens across more than 35 supported chains. This is a separate Ripple-Wormhole initiative; it does not verify or demonstrate that Colle AI deployed its announced integration. Read Ripple’s announcement.
In that announcement, Ripple CTO and XRPL co-creator David Schwartz said, “If you want real mass adoption, interoperability is essential.” The statement concerns interoperability broadly in the context of the Wormhole announcement, not Colle AI. Ripple also reported more than 1 billion cross-chain messages and more than $60 billion in cross-chain volume since Wormhole began in 2020; those figures refer to Wormhole overall, not Colle or XRPL-specific results.

What should XRP holders verify before relying on the feature?
If you are considering using Colle AI for an XRP Ledger NFT transaction, look for evidence that connects the platform to an actual XRPL transaction rather than relying on the announcement alone. Useful evidence would include a current feature description, clear network and asset details, and a transaction that can be checked on the ledger. Do not assume a general multichain claim means assets can move freely between every supported network.
Holding XRP is a separate matter from using the announced integration. Ledger lists Nano Gen5, Nano X, Flex, and Stax among its hardware devices for XRP wallet use; a hardware wallet is an optional self-custody choice, not a stated requirement for Colle AI or proof that its integration works.
