This ranking uses Bustle’s dated figures for a broader cast comparison and Parade’s 2026 figures where available. It focuses on the official “Big Seven” child cast, with selected adult performers included where Bustle publishes estimates.
How the Harry Potter cast ranks by Bustle’s 2024 estimates
Bustle’s article, updated February 20, 2024, gives the following estimates. They are estimates attributed to that publication, not confirmed current balances or comparable financial disclosures.

The official Wizarding World feature identifies the principal child cast as the “Big Seven”: Radcliffe, Watson, Grint, Wright, Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and Felton. Bustle’s cited estimates do not include Lynch, so she is not assigned a rank here.

Why estimates differ between publications
Parade’s 2026 article gives Radcliffe an estimated net worth of $120 million, Watson $85 million, Grint $50 million, and Felton $10 million. Bustle’s February 20, 2024 update estimates the same four at $110 million, $85 million, $50 million, and $20 million, respectively. The publications therefore agree on the order of these four only in part: Radcliffe is highest, Watson and Grint have the same respective estimates, but Felton’s figure differs by $10 million.
These numbers are not built from a shared, audited dataset. Net worth generally refers to assets less liabilities, but entertainment articles do not necessarily disclose the inputs, valuation dates, or methods behind their estimates. A figure can also change with the source’s assumptions and the date it was published. The estimates are useful for understanding what those publications report, not for establishing the actors’ actual present-day finances.

Net worth is not the same as Harry Potter pay
Several widely repeated money figures describe earnings or fees, not a current net-worth estimate:
- Daniel Radcliffe: Parade’s 2026 article reports estimated Harry Potter franchise earnings of $95.6 million, attributing that figure to Celebrity Net Worth. Franchise earnings are not a net-worth figure.
- Emma Watson: Bustle reports that Forbes put her 2017 earnings at $14 million and ranked her sixth among the year’s highest-paid actresses. That is a historical annual earnings figure. Bustle also cites The Hollywood Reporter’s $60 million figure for Watson’s Harry Potter film fees; it is reported fees, not an independently audited total compensation figure.
None of these amounts should be added to a net-worth estimate or treated as proof of wealth today. Earnings are income over a period or payments for work; a net-worth estimate also depends on what someone owns and owes.

A 2024 First-tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber) decision in Grint v Commissioners for His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs describes a historical transaction with total consideration of £8,586,814.10. The decision attributes £4.5 million to rights, records, and goodwill, and £4,086,814 to work in progress. It also describes the £4.5 million fixed consideration as valued using expected Harry Potter residuals.
This is evidence about the structure and tax treatment of that transaction, not a current net-worth disclosure. The residuals projection does not establish a verified annual royalty stream, and the tribunal record does not provide a present-day balance sheet for Grint or comparable information for the rest of the cast.
