PerthNow reported on 20 July 2021 that Renee Gracie paid her boyfriend a fee to appear in her adult videos. The outlet gave a range of $2,700 to $27,000, but its account does not make the range’s currency clear. It separately quoted Gracie saying she paid at least a couple thousand US dollars per video.
What amount did PerthNow report?
PerthNow’s 20 July 2021 article said the co-star fee ranged from $2,700 to $27,000. The report attributed Gracie’s comments to an interview with the Daily Mail, which was not independently retrieved. The range should therefore be treated as PerthNow’s account of what Gracie said, not as a verified financial record. PerthNow’s report
The article also reproduced a separate quote from Gracie saying she paid “at least a couple thousand US dollars” for each video. Since PerthNow does not clearly identify the currency for the $2,700–$27,000 range, the two amounts cannot safely be treated as the same rate or converted into a single figure.
Why did the fee vary?
As quoted by PerthNow, Gracie said the amount depended on what they were doing and what was popular. She also said her page’s audience changed from month to month, which affected what viewers wanted. The report further said the first video generated AUD$27,300; that is a separate reported figure and does not establish the boyfriend’s fee for later videos.
