Qantas’s Australia Red Tail Sale was reported on 7 May 2025, with more than one million discounted domestic seats and one-way Economy fares from $99 on selected flights. The booking deadline was 11:59 p.m. AEST on 12 May 2025, unless fares sold out earlier. The sale has ended; its reported travel window ran from June 2025 to March 2026.
What the 2025 Red Tail Sale offered
PerthNow reported that Qantas had discounted more than one million seats across major domestic routes, including city and regional destinations. QantasLink chief executive Rachel Yangoyan said more than 60 destinations were on sale. The seat count and destination figure were reported claims, not an independently audited total.
The reported starting fares were one-way domestic Economy prices on selected flights, not prices available on every route or date:
- Domestic Economy fares from $99 one-way.
- Perth to Broome and Perth to Kalgoorlie from $239 one-way.
These figures and route examples come from PerthNow’s 7 May 2025 report. They describe starting fares during that promotion, not current prices or guaranteed availability.

When could travellers book and fly?
The reported booking deadline was 11:59 p.m. AEST on 12 May 2025, unless the sale fares sold out earlier. The selected travel period was June 2025 through March 2026. Both the booking window and travel period have passed, so these fares can no longer be booked.
Is a later Qantas sale the same promotion?
No. A Qantas Agency Connect notice described a separate Australia Red Tail Sale in June 2026, with a different booking deadline and travel period. Its booking deadline was 16 June 2026, and its stated travel dates were 22 July 2026 to 23 May 2027. That promotion is historical too; it does not extend or reopen the 2025 offer. The notice also says fares for that separate sale were limited to selected dates and days, might not be available on all flights, and could incur distribution surcharges through certain agency booking channels. Those conditions should not be assumed to describe the 2025 promotion. See the Qantas Agency Connect notice.

The fuselage of the Airbus A380 Lufthansa aircraft model is made of high-quality resin, and the belly wings and tail are made of metal die-casting. The structure is sturdy and not easy to damage, and can be stored for a long time without fear of minor collisions.
- Prebuilt landing gear: The 1/400 aircraft model has added a new design of the landing gear part. The bracket part is restored and simulated according to the real aircraft, and the pulley part needs to be installed separately. The card slot tends to be invisible design, and removing the wheel will not affect the display of the aircraft model.

What the reported fare figures do—and do not—tell you
PerthNow’s account provides a snapshot of the sale: a reported seat count, selected route examples, starting fares, and a travel window. It does not establish a complete list of destinations, a calendar of unavailable dates, detailed fare rules, or the final number of seats sold. Treat the figures as contemporaneous reporting about a past promotion, not as a basis for estimating current Qantas fares.
