Richest Female SNL Cast Members: What the Available Estimates Show

Available reporting supports estimates for Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tina Fey, and Kristen Wiig, but not a reliable women-only top ten. Here is what the figures do—and do not—show.

There is not enough attributable evidence to publish a reliable top-ten ranking of the richest women who were cast members of Saturday Night Live. The estimates that can be tied to named sources support three examples: Julia Louis-Dreyfus at a reported $250 million, Tina Fey at $75 million, and Kristen Wiig at $25 million. These are publisher estimates—not audited disclosures—and their different sources and update dates make them unsuitable as a definitive comparison.

What the reported estimates say

Parade’s May 16, 2026, roundup describes its figures as “ranked by their reported net worths.” It lists Julia Louis-Dreyfus at $250 million and Tina Fey at $75 million, citing Celebrity Net Worth for the estimates. Celebrity Net Worth’s Kristen Wiig profile, updated June 29, 2026, reports $25 million. These are the available, attributable examples—not a complete women-only ranking.

Performer Reported estimate and source date SNL cast tenure reported by source Career context described by source What the estimate establishes
Julia Louis-Dreyfus $250 million — Celebrity Net Worth, in a 2019-era article crawled in 2026; repeated by Parade, May 16, 2026 1982–1985, according to Parade Parade’s roundup presents her as an SNL alumna; Celebrity Net Worth also has an all-time SNL list profile. A reported estimate, not an audited asset total. The underlying estimate is older than Parade’s roundup.
Tina Fey $75 million — Celebrity Net Worth estimate cited by Parade, May 16, 2026 2000–2006, according to Parade Parade identifies her as an SNL alumna and cites Celebrity Net Worth for the estimate. A reported estimate; the roundup does not make it a verified financial disclosure.
Kristen Wiig $25 million — Celebrity Net Worth, profile updated June 29, 2026 2005–2012, according to Celebrity Net Worth The profile discusses later screen, writing, and producing work. A wealth-site estimate; the profile is not a financial disclosure.

Why this is not a definitive top ten

No independently authoritative published statistic establishes a women-only SNL net-worth ranking, and the cited sources do not supply enough individually attributable entries to verify ten names and their figures. Filling out the list with unsourced candidates would create a false impression of precision. Estimates can also vary with publisher, methodology, and update date, so the three figures above should not be treated as directly comparable measurements.

Celebrity net-worth sites publish estimates rather than audited personal financial statements. A figure may reflect assumptions about career income and assets; it does not establish a performer’s actual holdings, liabilities, or take-home earnings. Gross revenue for a film or television show is not the same as one cast member’s net worth.

Who counts as an SNL cast member?

A cast-member ranking should include performers who joined the cast, not everyone who appeared on the show. Melissa McCarthy is a useful example: Biography.com reports an estimate of around $90 million, but its page describes her SNL connection as hosting. That evidence does not establish cast membership, so she should not be included on that basis.

For any claimed ranking, check the person’s cast tenure separately from the estimate. An SNL stint is only one part of a performer’s career; later acting, writing, producing, and other work may shape the assumptions behind wealth estimates.

How to judge a celebrity net-worth figure

  • Check the publisher and date. An older estimate repeated in a recent roundup is not necessarily a newly calculated figure.
  • Confirm the inclusion rule. Cast members, hosts, and guests are different categories.
  • Look for the basis of the number. A reported estimate is not a disclosure of assets and debts, and a project’s gross earnings do not belong to one performer.
  • Compare cautiously. Differences in methodology and update timing can make two published estimates poor measures of relative wealth.
