In the later February 4, 2026 update, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) rates reported by ARY News and Mettis Global were Rs529,162 per tola for 24-karat gold and Rs9,255 per tola for 24-karat silver. The corresponding 10-gram rates were Rs453,671 and Rs7,934. These are historical rates for that date, not current prices.

Pakistan gold and silver rates on February 4, 2026

ARY News and Mettis Global reported the following later February 4 APSGJA benchmarks. The reports give matching prices and daily changes.

Metal and purity Per tola Daily change per tola Per 10 grams Daily change per 10 grams
Gold, 24 karat Rs529,162 +Rs14,800 Rs453,671 +Rs12,689
Silver, 24 karat Rs9,255 +Rs109 Rs7,934 +Rs93

These figures are association benchmarks as reported by ARY News and Mettis Global. The daily-change column shows the increase from the comparison rates, not a separate price.

Why February 4 reports show different prices

Not every report published on February 4 carries the later update. An early-morning item from Business Recorder listed gold at Rs514,362 per tola and silver at Rs9,146 per tola. Those figures match Mettis Global’s February 3 comparison rates. ARY News and Mettis Global’s later February 4 reports show the increases to Rs529,162 and Rs9,255, respectively.

The most plausible explanation is that the reports reflect different update times. When comparing same-date figures, check when the item was published and whether it contains a later rate update; do not combine the early figures with the later daily changes.

Association benchmarks versus a seller’s quote

The reported figures are APSGJA benchmarks, not a guarantee of the amount a buyer or seller would receive in a particular transaction. Business Recorder cautions that open-market rates may differ from association prices. A jeweller’s quote can also depend on the specific item and transaction terms; the cited reports do not establish city-level premiums, jeweller fees, or a particular retail offer.

For a transaction, confirm the seller’s price directly and compare like with like: the report’s update time, metal and purity, unit of weight, and whether the figure is an association benchmark or an open-market or retail quote.

International prices and the reported market context

In its February 4 update, ARY News reported international gold at $5,064 per ounce and silver at $87.80 per ounce. It connected gold’s rally with renewed geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran. That is the report’s stated context, not an independently established cause of the price move.
