Norwich City’s cheapest verified adult season ticket for 2024/25 was £545.50 when bought by 15 March 2024, rising to £583 after that date in several seating areas. A fan compilation published on 4 April listed Norwich at £545—the highest “cheapest” price in its comparison, with Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough next at £510. But the compilation mixed 2024/25 prices with 2023/24 prices for some clubs, so it offers context rather than a definitive like-for-like league ranking.
What Norwich charged for its cheapest adult season ticket
Norwich City announced its 2024/25 season-ticket details on 14 February 2024. The club’s announcement said renewals completed by Friday, 15 March would receive the best available price, with prices increasing from that date.
The club’s price matrix lists £545.50 as the lowest adult price before the deadline, in several areas including the Barclay and Thorpe Corner. Those listed prices became £583 after 15 March. The matrix also shows higher prices for some locations: Wensum and Thorpe centre seats, for example, were £611.50 before the deadline.
The £545.50 figure is for an adult ticket in an eligible area, not a concession price or a stadium-wide rate. Seat location and purchase timing both affected the amount due.

How Norwich compared with the figures available for other clubs
A fan compilation posted on 4 April 2024 listed the cheapest adult season-ticket figures it had found across the Championship. It put Norwich at £545, followed by Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough at £510, Sunderland at £440 and Bristol City at £390. On that list, Norwich had the highest stated cheapest-ticket price.
The Norwich entry is rounded to £545 in the compilation, whereas the club’s official pre-deadline matrix gives £545.50. The club’s figure is the more precise reference for Norwich; the fan list is useful for seeing how its price sat among the figures assembled at the time.

Why this is not a verified 24-club ranking
The compilation’s author warned that some clubs had not released 2024/25 prices when it was assembled, so 2023/24 prices were used instead. The list explicitly marks prior-season figures for Coventry, Huddersfield, Plymouth, Preston, Blackburn, Birmingham, Watford, Leicester, West Brom, Rotherham, QPR, Southampton and Hull. It also says only the cheapest prices were found for Leeds and West Brom, and that hospitality-like options were excluded.
Those qualifications matter: the entries do not all represent the same season, sale stage, seat eligibility or ticket format. Norwich’s pre-deadline adult price should not be treated as directly comparable with another club’s post-deadline figure—or with an earlier season’s tariff—without that distinction being clear. The evidence supports describing Norwich as among the most expensive in the available comparison, but it does not establish a fully comparable ranking of all 24 clubs.

For the same reason, the compilation’s calculated £396.83 average cheapest-ticket price should not be presented as a definitive 2024/25 Championship average: it was calculated from a list that mixes seasons.

Norwich described its 2024/25 increases as “an average of less than £1 per game across all pricing categories.” For adult tickets, it said the increase ranged from 48p to 78p per game depending on seat location. These are the club’s descriptions of its own price changes, not a comparison of increases across the Championship.

The club also offered an interest-free direct-debit option spread over 12 months. That arrangement affected how a buyer could pay; it did not change the published season-ticket price.
