The Assam Police admit-card release covered Sub Inspector (UB), Sub Inspector of Police (Communication), Sub Inspector (AB), and Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.). The download facility opened on March 9, 2025, at 11 a.m.; the scheduled SI physical tests ran March 17–21, 2025, and have passed. The board’s notice did not give a date for the Assistant Deputy Controller practical test.
Which posts did the 2025 Assam Police admit card cover?
The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam notice dated March 4, 2025, covered these vacancies:
- 144 Sub Inspector (UB) posts in Assam Police
- 7 Sub Inspector (Communication) posts in APRO
- 51 Sub Inspector (AB) posts in Assam Commando Battalions
- 1 Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) post under DGCD & CGHG
The notice said the admit-card download facility would open March 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. Scroll also reported the release that day and described the portal steps, but the board notice is the source for the exact dates and login requirements. SLPRB, Assam is the official portal; its current page availability is not confirmed here.
How to download the Assam Police SI admit card
The 2025 download window is historical, so these steps describe the board’s announced process rather than a currently verified active link. For any new recruitment notice, use the SLPRB portal and follow the link published for that specific recruitment.

When were the physical tests scheduled?
The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for qualified SI (UB), SI Communication, and SI (AB) candidates were scheduled for March 17–21, 2025, at 4th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara, Guwahati-781019. Those dates have passed. The notice said the Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) practical-test date would be notified separately; it did not state that date.
Do candidates need separate admit cards?
Yes, in the cases specified by the board. Candidates who qualified for multiple posts had to give their preferences before downloading. Candidates qualified for SI (UB) or SI Communication and also SI (AB) needed separate admit cards for the relevant categories. Check the post and category shown on each card against your application before relying on it for a test.

What about the Constable (UB)/(AB) admit card?
A separate SLPRB Constable recruitment advertisement followed in December 2025, listing 1,052 Constable (UB) and 663 Constable (AB) vacancies and stating that eligible applicants could download admit cards for the recruitment tests. That advertisement is a different recruitment from the March 2025 SI release and, in the notice available here, does not provide a current release date. Check the corresponding SLPRB notice for the latest schedule rather than treating the March SI dates as applicable to Constable candidates.

Because the March 2025 SI test dates are over and no active download page is verified here, do not rely on an old direct link or assume an admit card is currently available. Visit the official SLPRB portal and check the notice for your exact recruitment and post. The board has changed admit-card dates for particular districts in a different recruitment cycle before, so use the notice relevant to your own application rather than an older schedule.
