Find the number in Wells Fargo Mobile
- Open the official Wells Fargo Mobile app and sign in.
- Select the checking, savings, or other account for which you need the number.

- Check that the number is for the selected account and the transaction you are setting up before sharing or entering it.
Make sure you have the right routing number

For direct deposit

For a wire transfer
Confirm the routing information specifically for a wire. Wells Fargo distinguishes wire-transfer routing numbers from those for checking and savings accounts; the account’s ordinary routing number should not be treated as a universal wire instruction.

Other ways to find it
- Wells Fargo Online: Sign in and select the relevant account. Wells Fargo lists online banking as a way to find routing and account numbers.
- Paper statement: Check a Wells Fargo paper statement for the account information.
- Physical check: Look at the numbers printed along the bottom. Wells Fargo identifies the first nine-digit group at the bottom left as the routing number.
These alternatives are useful if the app’s account screens are unclear. Confirm the number matches the account and intended use before giving it to an employer, biller, or financial institution.
