Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, but no specific Magic: The Gathering deal or stock level has been verified yet. The products most worth monitoring are booster boxes, Commander decks, and bundles; treat any predicted discount as a possibility, not a deal, until you confirm the live listing, seller, and total delivered cost.
When Black Friday MTG deals may appear
GamesRadar+’s September 30, 2026 guide expects MTG discounts to start as early as mid-November and potentially continue into December. That is a forecast based on seasonal patterns, not a sale calendar promised by Amazon, Wizards of the Coast, or any other retailer. Check listings during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period, and again later if you are not in a hurry. GamesRadar+’s 2026 Black Friday MTG guide
The same guide estimates that some Commander decks could be about $10 below sticker price, with older releases potentially discounted further, and that booster boxes can sometimes be $40 or more off. Those are historical-pattern estimates, not market-wide statistics or guaranteed savings for a particular product.
Which MTG products are worth watching
Booster boxes
Booster boxes are a category to monitor for a potentially larger price cut, especially if you already want packs from that set. Compare the same set, box type, and pack count; a lower headline price is not a bargain if it is a different product or comes from a seller with costly shipping.

Commander decks
A preconstructed Commander deck can make sense if you want a ready-to-play deck for that format. Compare the deck’s contents and theme with what you actually want to play. Older decks may be discounted, but the size of any reduction varies by listing and is not assured.
Bundles
Bundles combine different contents, so compare the pack types and included extras rather than judging only by the total price. For example, Wizards lists the Reality Fracture Bundle at a US MSRP of $57.99, while its Secret Lair Bundle is $89.99 and includes Play Boosters, a Collector Booster, and special promo cards. Those are reference prices and contents, not Black Friday offers. Wizards of the Coast’s Reality Fracture product page

Singles
If you need only one or two cards, compare the cost of singles from reputable shops against the cost of buying packs in pursuit of them. GamesRadar+ lists independent stores as a possible option for individual cards; check the specific seller, shipping charge, and return terms before ordering.

| Reality Fracture product | US MSRP listed by Wizards |
|---|---|
| Play Booster | $5.49 |
| Collector Booster | $26.99 |
| Multiverse Reforged Commander Deck | $49.99 |
| Foundations Commander Deck | $29.99 |
| Bundle | $57.99 |
| Secret Lair Bundle | $89.99 |
| Draft Night | $89.99 |
Use the table to compare like with like: a Play Booster is not interchangeable with a Collector Booster, and neither is a direct price comparison for a deck or bundle. Check the live retailer listing for the exact contents before deciding whether a discount is meaningful.
How to tell whether a listing is genuinely good value
- Choose the purpose first. Decide whether you want to open packs, draft, play Commander, collect a set, or acquire particular singles. The best-value product depends on that goal.
- Compare equivalent products. Check the set, product type, edition, pack count, and included extras. Do not compare a bundle with a booster box by headline price alone.
- Calculate the delivered total. Review shipping, taxes, seller identity, stock status, and return terms on the listing before checkout.
- Check the seller and product. Wizards recommends reputable dealers. For sealed booster boxes, it advises checking for plastic wrap and the Wizards of the Coast stamp; for packs, check that they have not been resealed. Wizards says North American online retailers authorized to sell sealed products display its Authorized Internet Retailer logo. Wizards of the Coast Support: product authenticity guidance
- Recheck before paying. Prices and stock can change. Make sure the final checkout total and seller still match the offer you evaluated.
Where to check listings
For the US, GamesRadar+ names Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Miniature Market, and Target as retailers to watch. Wizards’ Reality Fracture page also lists Amazon, TCGplayer, and local game stores as purchase routes. These are places to check, not confirmations of current stock or sale prices. In the UK, the guide names Amazon, Magic Madhouse, Zatu, and Wayland Games; availability and pricing may differ from US listings.

For any marketplace listing, verify who is actually selling the product rather than assuming the platform itself is the seller. Wizards’ guidance for auction purchases is to read the fine print so you know what you are getting; it also says, “If you suspect the product is fraudulent, don’t buy it.”
