Jeff Bezos’s publicly named portfolio spans operating companies, a newspaper, philanthropic organizations, long-term projects and selected venture investments. Bezos Expeditions publishes names, but not a complete holdings schedule: it does not disclose investment amounts, ownership percentages, dates for each position or an overall portfolio value.

What “Jeff Bezos’s portfolio” means

Bezos Expeditions’ website groups several kinds of organizations and projects on one page, then labels another section “selected investments.” Those categories should not be treated as interchangeable. A company associated with Bezos is not necessarily a wholly owned business, and a name on the selected-investments list does not reveal the size or current value of his stake.

The public list is selective, not a complete financial accounting. It supports identifying organizations Bezos Expeditions names; by itself, it does not establish portfolio weights, returns or a current total. The official list is published at Bezos Expeditions.

Organizations and projects listed separately from selected investments

Bezos Expeditions names these organizations and projects outside its selected-investments list:

  • Blue Origin: an aerospace company.
  • The Washington Post: a media organization.
  • Bezos Day One Fund and Bezos Family Foundation: philanthropic organizations.
  • 10,000 Year Clock and F-1 Engine Recovery: long-term projects.

The page’s grouping does not disclose the legal or financial relationship between Bezos and each name. It should not be read as evidence that every item is a conventional investment or has the same ownership arrangement.

Companies on the selected-investments list

Bezos Expeditions labels the following as selected investments. The list spans many recognizable company names, but the page does not attach stake sizes, investment dates or valuations to them.

What the reported funding figures do—and do not—show

Blue Origin: a dated funding figure

A 2023 written response to the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce gave a figure of $5.6 billion in funding by Jeff Bezos for Blue Origin since 2000. That is the figure and scope reported in that document; it is not a newly verified current total, nor a measure of the value of Bezos’s broader portfolio.

LifeMine and Oratomic: round totals, not Bezos’s checks

CB Insights reported Bezos Expeditions as a participant in LifeMine’s $188 million Series E round on August 6, 2026, and Oratomic’s $300 million Series A on July 7, 2026. Those figures are the total sizes of the respective funding rounds. They do not disclose how much Bezos Expeditions contributed or the resulting ownership stakes.

Is there a reliable total value for the Bezos portfolio?

No reliable aggregate current value for the entire portfolio is established by these public lists and reported rounds. Bezos Expeditions does not publish position sizes or an overall valuation on its list page, while round totals cannot be used as a substitute for individual investment amounts. Any single figure presented as the current value of the whole portfolio would therefore go beyond what these sources establish.
