SalaryLeaks reports that Subriel Matías had a $450,000 guaranteed purse for his June 15, 2024 fight with Liam Paro. The same site estimates Matías’s total earnings at about $1.95 million, including pay-per-view shares. The larger figure is an estimate—not a confirmed payout. Matchroom’s official event page confirms the fight and its result but does not publish purse amounts.
What was Subriel Matías’s reported purse?
SalaryLeaks lists Matías’s guaranteed purse for the Paro fight as $450,000. It separately estimates about $1.95 million in total earnings after including pay-per-view shares. These are two different kinds of figures: one is a reported guarantee, while the other is an estimated total. Neither amount is confirmed by the official event page.
| Figure | What it represents | Source and status |
|---|---|---|
| $450,000 | Reported guaranteed purse for Matías | SalaryLeaks; not independently confirmed by an official purse record |
| About $1.95 million | Estimated total earnings, including pay-per-view shares | SalaryLeaks estimate; not a confirmed payout |
Why are the reported guarantee and estimated total different?
A guaranteed purse and an earnings estimate are not interchangeable. A guarantee is the reported amount promised for taking part; an estimate of total earnings may include additional remuneration, such as a share of broadcast or pay-per-view revenue. Nevada law, for example, defines a purse to include a financial guarantee or other remuneration, including a contestant’s share of certain media-rights payments. That definition is useful context, but it does not establish what Matías received for this fight or govern this Puerto Rico event. Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 467
What is officially confirmed about Matías vs. Paro?
Matchroom lists the bout as taking place Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Puerto Rico. Its event page records Liam Paro as the unanimous-decision winner, with judges’ scores of 116-111, 115-112, and 115-112. The page confirms the event and result, not either fighter’s purse. Matchroom Boxing event page

How certain are the purse figures?
The $450,000 guarantee and approximately $1.95 million estimated total come from SalaryLeaks, whose page was accessed October 8, 2026. The reviewed official event page does not list purse amounts, and no commission filing, bout contract, or first-party statement in the available sources confirms either number. The figures should therefore be attributed to SalaryLeaks rather than presented as official disclosures. SalaryLeaks’ Subriel Matías page
Because Matchroom identifies the fight as a Puerto Rico event, Nevada’s statutes and administrative rules are not evidence that Nevada disclosed or regulated the bout’s reported purse. Nevada Administrative Code, Chapter 467
