The TSPSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS) recruitment advertised under Notification No. 23/2022 has a provisional selection list: the Commission’s web note dated 27 August 2024 reports 171 provisionally selected candidates. The written exam was held on 13–14 July 2023, so “2022” refers to the notification year, not the result date. To find the list or marks information, use the official Telangana State Public Service Commission website and its candidate services; a specific historic PDF link is not confirmed as currently live.
How to find the TSPSC VAS selection list
- Open the Telangana State Public Service Commission website.
- Open the “Results, Keys and OMR” candidate service and look for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon or Notification No. 23/2022.
- Open the relevant result or selection notice and follow the page’s current instructions to view or download it. The Commission’s web note directs candidates to its website for the list and further details.
The Commission’s result and marks pages are dynamic, so use the current portal rather than relying on an old direct PDF address. The separate Marks Memo page currently lists a Veterinary Assistant marks link; use it for marks-related information, not as a substitute for the selection notice. What “TSPSC VAS result 2022” means
Notification No. 23/2022, dated 22 December 2022, invited applications for Veterinary Assistant Surgeon posts, Class A and Class B, in Telangana’s Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department. The year in the common search phrase identifies the recruitment notification; it does not mean the exam or provisional selection was announced in 2022.
- Written examination: 13–14 July 2023.
- Certificate verification: dates in July 2024, including 4–8, 12 and 23 July, as listed in the provisional selection notice.
- Provisional selection notice: 27 August 2024; the Commission reported 171 provisionally selected candidates.
Provisional selections and vacancies are different figures
The 171 figure is the number of candidates the Commission reported as provisionally selected. A later addendum, dated 13 June 2024, revised the vacancy breakup after changes to horizontal reservation for women and covered 185 vacancies. These numbers describe different things: the revised vacancy count is not a claim that 185 people were provisionally selected. The available notices do not establish a comprehensive explanation for every difference, so no reason for the gap should be assumed.
#1 Best Overall
Provisional selection is not an appointment order or an unconditional guarantee of appointment. The Commission’s selection notice makes selection subject to verification and eligibility conditions. Candidates should read the notice and any subsequent Commission instructions that apply to their case.
Where to check marks
Use the Commission’s separate “Marks Memo” service for marks-related information. The original 2022 notification distinguished marks display from obtaining a memorandum: it said successful candidates’ total marks would be displayed after results, and set terms for requesting a memorandum after the selection-list declaration. Those original terms specified a one-month wait, a Rs. 200 fee through IPO or demand draft, and a three-month request period; it also said requests would not be entertained until recruitment finalization. These are dated notification terms, not confirmation that the same process remains open now. Check the current Marks Memo page and Commission instructions before paying or sending a request.
