Applications for the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board’s 2025 Prosthetic Craftsman recruitment closed on 25 April 2025. Although the original notice estimated about 36 vacancies, a 28 April corrigendum revised the post to one backlog vacancy. MRB later published a provisional selection list naming one candidate; it said appointment and posting orders would be issued separately.
What changed in the TN MRB Prosthetic Craftsman vacancy?
MRB’s Notification 07/MRB/2025, dated 4 April 2025, initially advertised approximately 36 vacancies. In a corrigendum dated 28 April 2025, the Board revised the vacancy to one backlog post, shown as General Turn under the DAP reservation note. The corrigendum is the operative vacancy figure for this recruitment, not the original estimate.
The Board’s later provisional selection list, dated 20 June 2025, named one provisionally selected candidate. It stated that no eligible DAP candidate was available for the backlog vacancy and that appointment and posting orders would be issued separately by the Director of Medical Education and Research. A provisional selection list is not confirmation of final appointment.
What were the deadline and post details?
The recruitment was for Prosthetic Craftsman in the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service. It was described as temporary direct recruitment. Online registration and payment were due by 25 April 2025, so the application window is closed.
