The June 12, 2024 announcement was for the TS TET 2024 examination, held from May 20 through June 3, 2024. Hindustan Times described it as a computer-based test with morning and afternoon sessions and a duration of 2.5 hours.

Do not confuse it with TG-TET-2024-II: that later session’s information bulletin listed February 5, 2025, as its result declaration date. A Telangana government press release about the September 2024 DSC results concerns a separate teacher recruitment examination, not this TET scorecard.

Contemporary coverage said qualifying TS TET certificates would be valid for life unless the Telangana government notified otherwise. That is the qualification attached to the rule as reported at the time; this article does not verify whether a later notification changed it.
