Career earnings describe compensation accumulated over a playing career, not the amount retained today. They do not show what remained after taxes, agent fees, other expenses, savings, investment gains or losses, or debt payments. The figure therefore cannot be converted into a current net-worth estimate from the information available.

When a website gives a celebrity net-worth number, check whether it explains how the figure was calculated and distinguishes net worth from gross career earnings. Without supporting financial records or a transparent method, the estimate is best treated as unverified rather than as a confirmed total.
