It quoted a 9.99% markup rate and monthly payments starting at Rs. 18,999. Those are historical reported terms: the offer’s availability and current conditions could not be confirmed, so check with HBL and an authorized Suzuki dealer before relying on them.
What the reported HBL offer included
ProPakistani reported on September 19, 2025 that the monthly installment could start at Rs. 18,999, with a 9.99% markup rate. Its example assumed the old vehicle would be valued at Rs. 2.1 million, with the remaining balance financed through HBL. The report said the installment depended on the trade-in value; it is not a quote that applies to every Alto owner.
The report did not provide a complete repayment schedule, and it does not establish that the campaign remains active. Pak Suzuki’s current media-center page also does not confirm the specific HBL offer. HBL’s general car-loan page provides limited application guidance, but its detailed terms were not available for verification. Current campaign status, eligibility, markup, term, fees, participating dealers and installment schedule therefore remain unconfirmed.
How Pak Suzuki’s general exchange process works
Pak Suzuki describes a dealership-based exchange program separately from the reported HBL campaign. Under the general process, a customer takes a vehicle to an authorized 3S dealership for evaluation. The dealer assesses its condition, and the customer and dealer agree on a buying price. The customer then pays the difference toward the retail price of a new Suzuki. The exchange may involve a car of any brand if the parties agree on its assessed value.

Pak Suzuki says delivery priority under the exchange program depends on demand and supply, so an exchange does not establish a guaranteed delivery date. These general program details do not confirm that every feature or process applies to an HBL-financed Alto purchase.
What to confirm before accepting an installment quote
Ask HBL and the authorized dealer to confirm the offer is open and provide the terms in writing. Compare the full cost, not just the monthly payment:

- Trade-in valuation: Ask how the car’s condition affects the assessed price and whether the figure is final after inspection.
- Amount financed: Confirm the balance after the agreed trade-in value and any down payment.
- Repayment terms: Get the markup rate, financing term, monthly installment and total repayment over the full term.
- Other charges: Ask about processing, documentation, insurance and any other fees.
- Eligibility and documents: Confirm borrower and vehicle eligibility, required paperwork and any campaign-specific conditions.
- Delivery: Ask which dealers are participating and what delivery timing they can commit to.
The Rs. 18,999 figure alone does not show the total cost of financing. Do not calculate a current payment from the 2025 example; request a complete, current schedule from HBL.
