These are three different claims: two require comparable market-price data, while the third needs a clear definition of what was counted and records to support it.
What the headline’s three claims actually establish

The 2024 figures are historical claims from that article, not current market or fundraising data. The XLM snapshot is also insufficient to establish a paired XLM-and-XRP move. A headline that says both prices are rising needs synchronized quotes, a stated currency, a defined comparison window, and a timestamp.
How to verify whether XLM and XRP are rising
“Rising” is incomplete without a baseline. A daily change, a two-week move, and a year-to-date return can point in different directions. To support a direct comparison, report XLM and XRP from the same data source and quote currency, over the same interval, with the retrieval time attached.
- Identify the quote currency, such as U.S. dollars, and use it for both assets.
- Set the same start and end times for both price comparisons.
- Name the data source or exchange and timestamp the quotes.
- State the baseline explicitly: for example, a 24-hour change or a two-week change.
A single XLM quote or change cannot show that XRP moved in the same direction. Nor does a token’s network activity, a project announcement, or a separate presale claim establish price performance.

What the $100 million figure would need to mean
“Presale purchasing” is not a sufficiently precise accounting measure. A stated total might describe cash received, orders placed, tokens allocated at a selected price, or a fundraising goal. Those measures are not interchangeable: an order may not be settled, token value depends on the price used, and a target is not money raised.
Evidence needed for a defensible total
- Definition and period: Specify exactly what the amount counts and the dates it covers.
- Original statement: Identify who published the figure and preserve the dated version of the claim.
- Conversion method: If tokens are valued in dollars, state the price and conversion method used.
- Transaction records: Provide public sale-wallet or contract addresses and records that can be reconciled with the stated metric.
- Accounting distinctions: Separate sale contributions from unrelated wallet inflows, allocations, and unsold tokens.
Transaction records can help test a claim, but wallet inflows alone do not prove that every transfer was a sale contribution. Address ownership, transaction purpose, allocation rules, and any vesting claims also need to be accounted for. A 2026 guide from Position Is Everything recommends checking addresses, transaction totals, allocations, and vesting claims; its guidance is not itself verification of BlockDAG’s total.

Why BlockDAG’s sale status remains unclear
The official BlockDAG website advertises access to a live presale, while a BlockDAG-associated post dated February 2, 2026 says the presale had ended. Without a dated project record resolving that discrepancy, neither statement should be treated as definitive proof of the current phase. The project may use different labels or update materials at different times, but the available statements do not establish that explanation.
The website also displays project-reported counts for holders, miners, and app users. Those are publisher-reported figures; the material available here does not independently validate the underlying totals. They should not be presented as independently measured adoption or as proof of sale proceeds.

What Stellar’s network information does—and does not—tell investors
Stellar is a network; XLM is its associated digital asset. The Stellar Development Foundation describes its mandate and XLM-related allocation framework on its mandate page, while also saying it is updating accounts to reflect current priorities and that real-time public balances will be available again imminently. Those are the Foundation’s own disclosures, not independent evidence of XLM’s market value.
A Grayscale Stellar Lumens Trust filing hosted by the SEC describes Stellar as intended to support cross-currency transactions and says transactions are resolved around every six seconds. That is network context, not a forecast for XLM’s price. Stellar’s press page lists ecosystem announcements concerning tokenized assets, payments, and network participation; announcements can indicate project activity, but they do not prove token appreciation.

How to read the headline without treating it as investment evidence
Keep the market-price claims separate from the presale claim. A rise in a traded asset, if verified over a defined period, does not validate a separate project’s fundraising total. Likewise, a large project-reported sales number does not demonstrate that XLM or XRP is rising, or establish the value of any token.
Before relying on a future version of this claim, look for paired XLM and XRP data with matching windows, a dated original BlockDAG statement, a clear accounting definition for the $100 million figure, transaction-level support, and a dated record clarifying whether the sale is open. Without those, the headline’s price and presale assertions remain unverified rather than a reliable snapshot of current market conditions.
