Yes. Woolworths has a product listing for UK-made Starburst Original Fruit Chews, but the listing does not confirm that a particular store has stock. Check your selected store’s Woolworths listing before making a trip. The chews were discontinued in Australia in June 2022; Woolworths’ return was reported in May 2024 as a limited-time import.
Why Starburst disappeared from Australia
Mars Wrigley announced that it would discontinue Starburst in Australia from June 2022. The company cited supply-chain difficulties and rising costs affecting products imported from Europe. ABC News reported the decision on 10 August 2022, covering the end of Australian Starburst lines including chews, snakes and babies. ABC News’ report on the discontinuation
What Woolworths brought back
In May 2024, Woolworths brought in a UK-manufactured version of Starburst Fruit Chews for a limited time, according to reports by PerthNow and 7NEWS. That announcement describes the return at the time; it does not establish that the offer is still active or that every store carries the product. PerthNow’s May 2024 report · 7NEWS’ May 2024 report
