A Starbucks drive-through was proposed for Part Lot 2076, Butler Boulevard, in Butler, as part of a larger staged commercial development. City-hosted plans dated April 2024 show a 220 m² tenancy in Building 3. The documents establish what was proposed, but do not confirm whether it was approved, built or opened.
Where is the proposed Starbucks drive-through?
The site is Part Lot 2076, Butler Boulevard, Butler, in Perth’s northern suburbs. The proposal appears in plans for a broader commercial site, not a standalone Starbucks development. What do the plans show?
The City-hosted architectural drawings, prepared by Meyer Shircore Architects and dated April 2024, revision 3, identify a 220 m² Starbucks tenancy in Building 3. The site plan shows a drive-through arrangement and other tenancies and buildings within the wider site. The application describes the work as Stage 4, stating: “The proposed application is the development of Stage 4 of the overall site.” City application material Architectural plans
What was the planning rationale?
The application places the site in Precinct C of the Butler District Centre Activity Centre Structure Plan area. It describes Precinct C as “a commercial gateway to the centre” and says a “Drive Through Food Outlet” is a permitted use there and that the proposal is consistent with the precinct’s intent. That is the applicant’s planning rationale; it does not establish that the City approved the application. Do the drawings confirm Starbucks signage?

The City-hosted application and plan documents describe a proposal from 2024. They do not establish whether it was later approved or refused, whether construction began, or whether a Starbucks opened at the site. Its present status therefore remains unconfirmed on the available official material. A current City determination or project update would be needed to confirm any later milestone.
