What eligibility requires
The rules require participants to be U.S. residents and physically located in an eligible state or jurisdiction when they access and participate. You must be at least 18, or meet the higher age of majority that applies where you are. Participation is void where prohibited by law, and Sidepot says participants are responsible for determining whether participation complies with local law.

Location checks and prohibited workarounds
Sidepot’s FAQ says it may check location during signup. Its rules prohibit disguising your location with a VPN, proxy, GPS spoofing, or another method. Trying to bypass a location restriction is not a way to establish eligibility.

Eligibility is not the same as claiming a prize
Being in an eligible location does not guarantee that an account or prize claim will be approved. Sidepot’s rules require verification and set additional conditions for prize claims. They list a minimum claim of 100 eligible Sweeps, currently corresponding to a $100 prize claim request; processing delays may apply. A balance shown on the platform should not be treated as a guaranteed or immediately payable prize.
The rules state: “NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.” They also say a purchase does not increase the chance of winning and describe free entry methods, including platform bonuses, social-media giveaways, and a mail-in method with specific requirements.
