Lotterywest reported on 24 August 2026 that three Western Australian entries had won Saturday Lotto Division One prizes in the weekend draw and had not yet been claimed at the time of its announcement. The entries were sold in Forrestfield and Madeley, and through Lotterywest Play Online. Lotterywest said each of the ten winning entries across Australia would receive almost $650,000; the release did not give an exact amount. The available information does not confirm whether these three prizes have since been claimed.
What Lotterywest reported about the three WA winners
In its 24 August 2026 announcement, Lotterywest said ten tickets across Australia shared that Saturday night’s Division One prize pool. It reported that each winning entry took home almost $650,000.
| Entry location or channel | Lotterywest’s report |
|---|---|
| Nextra Boutiques, Forrestfield | One of the three WA Division One entries reported as unclaimed on 24 August 2026. |
| Kingsway City Lottery Centre, Madeley | One of the three WA Division One entries reported as unclaimed on 24 August 2026. |
| Lotterywest Play Online | One of the three WA Division One entries reported as unclaimed on 24 August 2026. |
Lotterywest said the Forrestfield win was the City of Kalamunda’s first Division One win that year. That was the agency’s statement on 24 August, not a separately verified year-end tally. The announcement did not identify the winners.
Is the prize still unclaimed?
That status is not established by the available reports. Lotterywest described the three WA entries as yet to be claimed on 24 August 2026, but that is a dated snapshot, not confirmation of their status on 8 October 2026. A later report about Saturday Lotto draw #4175 on 26 September covered a separate draw and does not update the status of the August prizes (PerthNow).

The same Lotterywest announcement also said it was waiting to hear from a Paraburdoo ticketholder who had won a Division One prize in the preceding weekend’s draw. That was a separate win, not one of the three entries in the headline.
How to check a Saturday Lotto ticket and claim a Division One prize
If you think you hold one of the winning entries, use Lotterywest’s official announcement and results information to verify the relevant draw and numbers. For a Division One claim, Lotterywest’s prize-collection guidance says the ticket holder must claim at Lotterywest Head Office during office hours. The guidance applies to Division One prizes; the announcement does not provide separate claim directions for a retail ticket and a Lotterywest Play Online entry.

What Lotterywest said about the numbers
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said that many players choose numbers linked to birthdays and special dates, and that the agency often sees more winning entries across the country when the winning numbers are below 31. Lotterywest’s release offered no underlying study or numerical analysis, so this is an attributed observation, not evidence that number choices improve a player’s odds.
Wender also said: “Three WA Division One winners in one draw is so exciting, and we’re looking forward to welcoming these winners to the Lotterywest Winners Room.”
