Candidates could view them by signing in through the designated login module at ssc.gov.in. This is a historical update: the 2025 exam has already taken place, so the dates below are not upcoming deadlines.
How candidates accessed the SSC Stenographer city details
- Go to the official Staff Selection Commission website at ssc.gov.in.
- Open the designated candidate login module and sign in to view the examination city details. SSC’s July 31, 2025 notice said the details were available from that date.
- Check the displayed city information. The notice referred to this as “examination city details”; it was advance information about the exam city, not the Admission Certificate.
City details and Admission Certificate were separate
SSC said the Admission Certificate would be a separate download through the same login module, tentatively available two to three days before the examination. Candidates were instructed to keep a copy for future reference because the Commission would retain the certificate during the examination. The notice did not say that the city details themselves could be used in place of the certificate.

The Western Region’s separate 2025 notice reported that the exam was held across 157 centres in 85 cities, with over 3.50 lakh registered candidates; 79 percent were assigned one of their first, second, or third choice cities. These are regional-notice figures, not details from the central July 31 city-details notice.
If the city details are missing now
The July 31 notice does not provide password-reset, missing-slip, or correction instructions, and it does not establish current access to the 2025 details. For an account issue or any current exam-related query, check SSC’s latest notices and use the official contact channels for the relevant SSC region rather than relying on an unverified recovery route.
