Its theme was “SHEIN AIR.” The event had first been planned for Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre, but moved after that centre cancelled the activation.
Where and when was the SHEIN pop-up?
The event ran from 5 to 7 July 2024 at the Centenary Pavilion, Claremont Showgrounds. Before the venue change, SHEIN’s planned location was Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre. A Lakeside spokesperson told WAToday, as quoted by PerthNow, that the activation would not proceed there; the published account does not explain why it was cancelled. PerthNow’s 24 June 2024 report confirmed the new venue.
Claremont Showground’s current website describes the site as a 32-acre event venue with train, bus and road access. That is general venue information, not a description of the pop-up’s footprint or transport arrangements for the 2024 event. Claremont Showground
What did SHEIN announce?
SHEIN said the pop-up would showcase Autumn/Winter apparel and accessories for different genders and ages. Its announced program also included a beauty bar, make-up tutorials, complimentary touch-ups, DJ performances, giveaways and photo opportunities. These were pre-event plans, not a guarantee that every activity or product category would be available throughout all three days.

What did the first-look report describe inside?
PerthNow’s report on opening day, 5 July 2024, described an interior in pastel pink, white and beige. It reported a beauty area with illuminated mirrors where visitors could try SHEGLAM products, along with seating, a live DJ, giveaways, photo opportunities and make-up tutorials.
