What “SBI Clerk” means in the 2025 recruitment
“SBI Clerk” is the common name for SBI’s Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) recruitment. The 2025 process was listed under advertisement CRPD/CR/2025-26/06. SBI’s official careers listing now shows the preliminary and main results, marks, and selection of candidates provisionally in the first wait list, so the 2025 call-letter stage has passed.
How candidates downloaded the 2025 call letter
SBI’s 2025 detailed advertisement directed candidates to the Bank’s website. The preliminary-exam instructions covered downloading both the call letter and the “Acquaint yourself booklet”; candidates entered their registration number and password or date of birth as prompted. For the main exam, qualified candidates were to download their call letter by following the on-screen instructions.
- Visit SBI’s official careers page and find the relevant Junior Associates recruitment entry.
- Open the call-letter link for the applicable exam.
- Enter the registration number and password or date of birth, as requested on screen.
- Download and save the call letter. Candidates were responsible for bringing the required documents to the exam venue.
The notification described call-letter availability as tentative, beginning about 10 days before each exam. That was an estimated lead time, not a guaranteed release date; the official materials do not establish exact calendar release dates for the 2025 call letters. The notification also stated: “NO HARD COPY OF THE CALL LETTER (PRELIMINARY/ MAIN)/ ACQUAINT YOURSELF BOOKLET WILL BE SENT BY POST.” See SBI’s 2025 detailed advertisement for its original instructions.

Documents and photographs required at the exam
SBI’s 2025 notification gave candidates additional instructions for exam day:
- The preliminary call letter was not to be collected at the venue. Centre staff would authenticate or stamp it; candidates were to retain it with an authenticated copy of their identity proof.
- Main-exam candidates were instructed to bring the retained preliminary call letter and authenticated ID copy, the main-exam call letter, and other documents specified in the acquaintance booklet and call letter.
- Candidates were told to bring two additional photographs matching the one pasted on the call letter. SBI warned that candidates without the pasted photograph or the two additional photographs would not be allowed to appear.
These are historical instructions for the 2025 process. For any current SBI exam, check the relevant call letter and booklet for that recruitment’s requirements.
