The “second week in a row” claim and a separate 21.3 million figure appeared in a forum search result, but Roblox’s official materials do not confirm that specific weekly detail.
What record did Grow a Garden set?
Roblox said in a June 2025 infrastructure report that Grow a Garden had 21.6 million users playing simultaneously. The company described this as breaking the Guinness World Records achievement for most concurrently played video game. Roblox’s June report is the primary source for that figure.
“Concurrent” means online at the same time. It is not a count of everyone who played during a day or week, nor a measure of lifetime visits. A peak is a snapshot of simultaneous activity.
Did it break the record for a second week in a row?
A June 2025 forum search result using the headline framing reported that the game reached 21.3 million concurrent players on June 21 after a Summer Update, calling it a second consecutive weekly record. That exact figure and the successive-week claim are not verified in the Roblox report or the company’s shareholder letter. The forum result should therefore be treated as a lower-confidence report, not an official Roblox-confirmed record.

Roblox’s account gives a clearer, broader chronology: the game set a record in June and surpassed it in July. The available official statements do not establish that it set a new record in each of two consecutive weeks.
How did the record change in July?
In its Q2 2025 shareholder letter filed with the SEC, Roblox said Grow a Garden surpassed its June record in July, reaching nearly 22 million concurrent users. The letter also says the experience launched on March 25, 2025. Roblox’s shareholder letter provides the June-to-July chronology.

The company’s June report gives a more specific June figure: 21.6 million. That differs from the forum result’s 21.3 million for June 21. The cited sources do not explain the difference, so the figures should not be merged or presented as interchangeable readings of the same moment.
Was Grow a Garden’s peak higher than Roblox’s total?
No. The game’s concurrent-player peak and Roblox’s platform-wide peak measure different scopes. Roblox reported a platform-wide peak of 13.9 million concurrent users in April 2025 and 30.6 million in June. The platform figure was higher because it counted users across Roblox, not just in Grow a Garden. Roblox said that Grow a Garden and Dress to Impress, among other factors, contributed to the increase; it did not attribute the entire platform rise to one game. The infrastructure report gives both platform peaks and the company’s context.

What the record does—and does not—show
- It shows a moment of extraordinary simultaneous activity. Roblox reported 21.6 million concurrent users in June, followed by a higher July peak described as nearly 22 million.
- It does not establish a weeklong audience total. A concurrent peak cannot show how many distinct people played over a week or how long any one person played.
- It does not establish a current player count. These figures describe June and July 2025; they do not indicate how many people are playing now.
- It does not mean the game alone drove Roblox’s platform growth. Roblox cited multiple experiences and factors in discussing its platform-wide peak.
