Best Buy’s indexed listing showed LG’s 86-inch 2025 UA77 4K smart TV, model 86UA7700PUA, for $749.99 as a clearance item. That retailer-reported price puts it below $1,000, but it does not confirm the TV is still available or that the price applies in your area. LG’s U.S. product page displayed $1,099.99.
Is the 86-inch LG TV really under $1,000?
It was listed below that threshold: Best Buy’s indexed product result reported a $749.99 clearance price for model 86UA7700PUA. The listing was crawled roughly three weeks before the research timestamp, so treat the figure as a reported offer, not a current-price guarantee. LG’s own U.S. page displayed $1,099.99. LG also says, “Prices, promotions, and availability may vary by model, store, and online. Prices subject to change without notice.”
Before budgeting around the lower price, check the retailer’s live product page for your location. Confirm the checkout price, stock, delivery options and whether pickup is available where you live.
Which TV is the listing for?
The offer refers to the LG 86UA7700PUA, which LG names the 86 Inch Class UHD AI UA77 4K Smart TV (2025). It is an 86-inch-class LED television with UHD 4K resolution. Confirm the model number on the live listing before buying; a similar screen size or series name does not by itself establish that it is the same set.

What features does LG advertise?
LG lists the following specifications and features for this model. These are manufacturer-advertised features, not independent test results.
- Alpha 7 AI Processor Gen8
- webOS smart-TV platform and access to streaming apps; internet access and subscriptions may be required for some services.
- HDR10 Pro and FILMMAKER MODE
- LG Channels; LG says the number of free channels may change.
What to check before buying
- Price at checkout: Clearance pricing can change, and a search result may not reflect the price or stock currently shown for your location.
- Delivery or pickup: Check which options are offered for your address before planning around a large-screen purchase.
- Exact model: Look for 86UA7700PUA in the product details and order confirmation.
- Installation: If you plan to wall-mount the TV, verify the model-specific mounting requirements and compatibility before purchasing a mount; the cited listings do not establish a VESA pattern.
- Streaming costs: Apps and LG Channels do not mean every service or piece of content is free; some services require subscriptions or internet access.
How to judge the deal
The available price evidence points to a substantial gap between the retailer’s reported clearance listing and LG’s displayed price, but it does not establish a lasting discount or the TV’s value relative to competing sets. Compare the live total for this exact model with other televisions you are considering, and distinguish basic LED UHD models from QNED or other display categories rather than assuming they offer equivalent hardware.
