A phone’s advertised monthly payment is only the device portion, not the total monthly cost of service.

Is the Rogers student deal still available?
No. Rogers’ 2026 Back to School Student Contest ran from July 21 through September 30, 2026, and was closed as of October 8. Its official contest rules describe eligibility for post-secondary students enrolled in a 2026/2027 program at a Canadian university or college. Qualifying Rogers student-plan activity could earn an entry, and a separate online entry method did not require a purchase. The contest rules do not state the price of a Rogers student plan.
